When is the Flashback set?
« on: February 25, 2007, 10:15:02 PM »
I can't see that this has been discussed already.

When abouts is Jack's Phuket flashback set? I'm guessing before ALL the others (of Jack's) though I can't say I paid special attention during series 1 and 2 to if he had tattoos in his flashbacks or not

He has always had his tattoos as far as I know.

He did not have tats in the flashbacks with Sarah (to the best of my recollection).

I specifically remember noticing that the makeup dept had covered them up in a Jack/Sarah bedroom scene......

He had them when he met Sarah, though... so I don't really see how that happens...

Here we go, no tats in bed with Sarah (The Hunting Party).  Ergo, Stranger flashbacks are post divorce.

HG, that doesn't make sense... he had his tats before he married Sarah...

must have been an error of some sort.

What ep or flashback are you thinking of where we might have seen his tats pre-Sarah?

I really glad I asked this now. Obviously not as clear-cut as I first thought.

I thought his flashback pretty much lead from one to the other (apart from the gap of Sarah's accident to their wedding) but it seems possibly not

So his trip must of been post divorce, HG photos shows that.

More than that, He didn't in this episode mention the failed relationship with a woman?
I have clear in mind the image of sad Jack when Sarah leaves him, and AFTER THAT the crazy Jack when he need to sign the divorce papers.
Seems reasonable to me put that trip in between those times. This episode's flashback could be the change between Sad Jack to Psycho Jack, that led his father to death.
