The false promos are getting old.  ABC needs to be careful.  I am a diehard and am already skeptical about the "must-see" next episode (I was going to see it anyway though  Smiley).  The average fan will lose interest if they feel like they are constantly being tricked.  I hope next week is a good one.

Since there wasn't already a thread for this (at least not one in this episode discussion) and people are talking about it everywhere, I thought I would start one to discuss the "3 questions" that were supposed to be answered last night.

Here's my thoughts.....

Yes there were questions answered, no they were not major to LOST, but at least some questions were answered.

I think the 3 qustions TPTB referred to are the ones Jack asked Alex.  In the scene where she comes to see him and he is in the cage, he asks if he can ask her a question.  He does, then she answers, he asks another, etc.  Then they reach a point where Alex says, "Thats 3 Questions."  Ta-Da.  3 Questions answered.  (don't quote me on anything, I don't have the transcrips nor do I have the episode to check the dialogue)

Anyway, just wanted to put in my 2 cents.

Jacks tattoo's meanings.

Cindy is alive.

the kids are alive and with the others

They have a legal system

Juliet was going to die but Jack saved her

Jack can have an episode without crying but not without yelling

Jacks tattoo's meanings.  I would say this is question #1
Cindy is alive.  We knew this from the promo

the kids are alive and with the others  We saw them walking in the jungle when Jin and Eko hid

They have a legal system  Nice to know but has it come up before?

Juliet was going to die but Jack saved her

Jack can have an episode without crying but not without yelling

These are far from "three of Lost's biggest mysteries".  I am not even sure the tattoo was that big of a mystery.  Did I mention I am starting to hate the promo's.  Angry

You know what's wild?...I've been watching Lost without ever having seen a promo for it. I never know what's "supposed" to be coming up on the next episode, I never hear or even see any of the promotion or hype...I just watch it online for the most part and skip the tv. I'm not sure whether or not it makes Lost more enjoyable for me than it would if I were hearing and seeing all the ways they've been hyping the show this season.

I think that with Carl out and about reminds me of the Room he was rescued from and answers a question about Walt being threatened to be put back in the Room. Is that the same Room and were all the plane survivors that were taken subjected to the Room?

The promos are starting to put me off - I was extremely disappointed in the Cindy scene, with the children, because nothing happened that the promo didn't show. Ok, sorry, it showed that children were with her, but it didn't give any infomation about what they have been up to the past 2 months. Yeah, we know it's complicated. The whole show is complicated, that's nothing new. Ugh, really dissapointed in that part - I had high hopes for that scene.
My roommate on the other hand, doesn't watch any promos for Lost. Like, none. Changes the channel during the Lost promo commercials, doesn't look up anything on the net, nothing. So she was blown away when Cindy showed up - made me realize that, yeah, I guess it was pretty cool. If I hadn't known about it.

I never see the lost promos and since we don't sit down to watch it til Friday night I avoid the forum after it's been shown.I didn't know there was supposed to be three questions answered tonight but when I saw the title of the thread I immediately thought about Alex saying it to Jack.
