She played a character on Prison Break (the lady who owned the house that the money was buried beneath.) She was equally annoying in that show too.

I always laugh at prison break because it is so unbelieveable. But i still like it. If anyone thinks lost never reveals something, watch prison break, they 'reveal-make a new mystery-reveal that one' before the first commercial. it is like the opposite of lost. you cant predict anything because they try to find the most outrageous twists and put them all over the episode. its quite entertaining though.

while we are on the subject of other shows, who does this happen to?

"Meredith grey's dad is the president's brother?!"

"Why is juliet married to santa clause?"

I watch way too much tv, or they hire the same pool of actors.

Ben certainly has privilege... he controls all, the dictator... they live under a false illusion of an Utopian society, if that's what they think they have -- yet there is a major flaw... Ben and his autocratic leadership!

I liked Isabel... strong, intimidating and calm... enough to drive anyone nuts... I did notice a twinge of anger when she read Ben's note... what do they do with their anger... will there ever be a coup... maybe Ben has something more powerful than just his winning personality and good looks... a power, if you will... he has to have something that gives him status above the rest... he's certainly human and even in his crippled state he has authority... amazing

Like I said before, I think he is the project/projects leader. The projects are the key to their exsitance...whatever the goal of the projects are.(we don't know that yet) So productivity or results from these projects is the number one goal. Ben has the authority to make decisions in whats best for the project, no matter what the cost. IMO

so if isabel is the sheriff (chief law person) then what is tom.  the deputy?  then what was picket?  there seems to be a very long hierarchy running through this place.  then you have juliet, an outsider, but one of ben's favorites.  (i don't think he would have pardoned anyone else).

Ben is in power because he has power....the power to harness the forces of the island to manipulate events.
