Juliette's tattoo has the same meaning as Jack his tattoo. She killed one of the others and therefore she she should be executed, but Ben stopped that. They marked her and by that they make it clear that she is no longer one of them, they just tolerate her (for the time being). Just as the tattoo of Jack says; She walks among them but is not one of them (anymore)

Hey Everyone, this is my first post, I love this site and finally decided to register.

Maybe because it was Ash Wednesday, but I couldn't help but think of the parallel between Jack and Jesus, one who walks amongst them but is not one of them.

well the creators of the show have said time and time again..that this is a show of faith! So that doesnt suprise me at all.
