Well when Ben said that to Juliet she didn't know they were with Alex....so I think they ended up using Alex's boat not the one Ben had told her to use....I think??

That's what I get from it, but maybe Alex was stealing her dad's boat, anyway.

This would suggest that Ben has several boats as he has already given one away to Michael, then he semed to really want their boat so if that was the only one he had he wouldn't want to give it away and be left without one again.

As far as the boat issue goes, I wouldn't be surprised if they had multiple boats, but JB brings up a great point in asking why they wanted Des's sailboat... but that's all really up in the air anyway...

Good news, Ben wasn't lying about telling Juliet to help them... Bad news, we still don't know if he really said Juliet could go home...
