Dog on a bone...

Re:  Bill W. and 12 Steps -

By issues with their father I meant God, but I meant their earthly fathers, too.

i.e. Jack and his dad, Shannon and her dad, Walt and Michael, Sawyer and his dad, Kate and her dad (stepdad), Locke and his dad (!), Jin and his dad, Sun and her dad, Sun's baby's dad (whoever it is), Claire's baby's dad, Charlie's...I don't remember for sure, but I thought he favored the brother,  Hurley's lack of a dad (?)...see where I am going?

Then the references to God, faith, spiritualism, the bible, the cross, virgin Mary, drugs, mind control/physical constraint, science (hatches).

as usu. so many connections...but no solution...ahhh! frustrating.

I know a thing or two about friend's of Bill W.
I can see where you are going, that the island is one big 12 step program.
Looks like Locke is further along than the rest.

Yes, Sawyer's father killed his mother because of the conman. He was hiding when his father killed his mother and then shot himself.

We never heard about Boone's father, but I've assumed he was dead.
Nothing on Des, Bernard, Rose family yet. Not sure about Vincent, but you know how male dogs are.  ;D
