Yeah, I get the message (occasionally) either when I reply or modify a post... seems more often when I modify. And especially when I've got a post that's like 1,000 words long... or has tons of formatting I don't want to repeat... GRRR  DVA, I'll try and copy the error msg for you next time. |

The only time I have noticed that the error message is correct was when I tried to post in the song game and it just so happened that I had posted the exact same song and performer right back at the beginning. Therefore, it was a 'duplicate'.
Ever since then, I just figured that maybe a large percentage of my text had been duplicated before in the same thread so it was picking up on it and couldn't cope with it. It definitely doesn't apply to different threads because I post the lists in each lounge and there has never been a problem there.

I'm having a new issue with replying...
after typing a message, if i put a smiley on at the end...my entire post is deleted and just the smiley is put up there....any suggestions?

i have had that problem too. i find that sometimes if i space or enter a few times, it won't delete it. then other times it deletes it anyway. does that makes sense?  Yes it does. Thanks. |

What browser & OS are you using?
I dunno all that stuff. LOL To view browser info, go to your navigator toolbar and Help > About; It probably reads for you something like Internet Explorer, Version ____ or Netscape Version _____ To view your OS, go to your start menu or desktop and click on either "My Computer" or "Control Panel" > System (or View System Information); It probably reads for you something like Microsoft Windows __. |
