This is a great find, Jason, very nice Easter Egg!

Can anyone get a screencap here?

I wonder if Sledge would let me add this to the Numbers section of SWLS. :)

We usually don't include numbers that are obtained through arithmytic because we dont' want to get too far into the weeds ("if you add 5, divide by 2, subtract 1..." would be ridiculous).... but this find is obviously intentional by the writers if it is true, it's just too direct to be coincidental.

the russians at the end of series 2, link with numbers
« Reply #10 on: May 28, 2006, 08:32:55 PM »
hi all,
last episode of series 2 was insane. no other word can describe it.

Something that i did notice though is that the electromagnetic anomaly which flashes up with the russians at the end gave the number 7418880

see...   http://lost.cubit.net/pics/2x23/anomalyDetected.jpg

is it coincidence that 4 8 15 16 23 42 when all multiplied by each other gives the answer 7418880?

Hey evad... it's a good link, but we're discussing it in the other episode discussion, so going to merge with that one, since it is on the specific episode...
