Do you love GoT?
« on: May 29, 2014, 11:46:15 PM »
This is the show I've been the most into since LOST. Anyone else loving it? If anyone does come back to this site, let's try sticking around and discussing some current shows?

Yes! I binge-watched all the previous seasons when it came back because I was tired of not getting references. Now I'm obsessed. GoT and Fargo are my current must-sees.

I am a huge GoT fan, but I haven't seen any of season 4 yet.
I guess we'll just have to adjust

Season 4 started slow but has been nailing it lately!

I'm very excited for tomorrow night's episode. Having last week off sucked. Ever since I started watching the show (a whopping six weeks ago) I haven't had to wait more than a week between epis. But we should get to see how the trial-by-combat goes!

My favorite story line is the Hound and Arya.

Have you ever listened to any podcasts about the show? I listen to "Boars, Swords and Gore." The hosts are really funny!

Oh yeah, he was getting eye-rollingly obnoxious. Good riddance!! Initially I thought, what if he was just allergic to something in the pie and wasnt poisoned? I dont even remember if he ate any of it though. But that question got settled.

I feel so bad for Sansa. That girl cannot catch a friggin break!

I was also bummed last week that there wasn't a new episode. Thing is, I usually watch it Monday nights on demand. And I didn't know there wasn't a new episode. So, I set up everything, got my snacks ready, settled down to watch, pulled up On-Demand - and then was like "something's wrong with the on-demand!!" It took me a few minutes to figure out there just wasn't a new episode. I was so bummed. lol.

@Cayley, Fargo is amazing. I've only watched three episodes, but I'm hooked.

I read the GoT books, so I know all the spoilers. Also, I don't have HBO, so I'm not up to date (still stuck on Season 2). To be honest, after the first book, I wasn't that fond of the book series. But the TV show has gone above and beyond in recreating the series faithfully and beautifully. I think this is the first time I can honestly say the TV version is even better than the books.

I love this show. I have not seen any of the current season since I just got my cable back. I tried to watch last night but I was exhausted and confused and just fell asleep. It's my mission to figure out the on demand feature with this dish!!

One of the few, very few I have gotten into in years GoT. That an True Detective has restored my faith in story telling on TV….

Generally I read… This trilogy is very promising in the weird sci-fi, Lost, True Detective, weird mystery kind of way….
