And the other religions were in second fiddle.  I thought that added a touch of class.

LOL WTF are you talking about? In fact, I think the writers kind went out of their way to show it was a combination of allt he world's religions, you know, like in the stained glass window, or all the buddhas and pictures of Vishnu.

So, they had 1 character called Christian Shephard, that makes everything else 2nd fiddle? Please.

Try another angle. LOST is many things, but not Christian propaganda.

I am offended by your use of the word "propanganda".  The crucifix was the major religious symbol focused on during the church scene.  Review the tape...you monster!

You gotta be trolling.

Because along with the crucifix was a minora, Vishnu, Buddha, the crescent moon and star. I think they tried really hard to represent as many religions as possible.

By the way, how's that pure bullsh!t story you posted about a Lost movie workin out? lol

Yeah, how was Christianity front and center?  The whole point was that they were meeting together in some kind of purgatory/limbo situation.  Christianity doesn't even believe in purgatory.  I think that's just a Catholic thing.

Caseymac...since you are such a hater of christianity, then explain the statue of Christ in front of the church.

as a christian, i'm going to say that the "sideways purgatory" (which wasn't purgatory) wasn't a christian reference. the writers did pay homage to all religions in the scene. it wasn't even purgatory because they weren't paying off their debts, they were just remembering. even if they claimed it was all a christian thing, they would have been way off base because in no way is that a "christian" belief.

LOL can somebody deal with this troll.

Kurtz is obviously being tongue in cheek. Too bad, he's the only one who thinks it's funny.

I'm a Christian Kurtz and I completely disagree with whatever point you are trying to make.  As a Christian I would have never made the statement you opened this thread with.  Clearly you don't know what "class" is since your statement has none.

Don't get worked up. He's just trolling. Some people are just pathetic and get pleasure out of instigating. Don't play into his little game.

I liked how the religions were given EQUAL billing. The diversity on Lost was great.
