The pop-up rerun emphasized that Richard was "another person brought to the Island who was responsible directly or indirectly for the death of someone else".

Does that apply to everyone?  Whose death was Locke responsible for (prior to coming to the Island)?  If not, is there any pattern/meaning to which ones it does apply to?

It should be for actions before the flight.  Did anyone die at the pot farm that Locke worked at when the police raided them?  Locke inadvertantly led the police there.

Locke MAY have killed that Undercover Cop we saw that was going to bust the Drug Operation there. Never SAW the death, but that MAY be it.
