Sawyer a Cop

The thin blue line.....

So Jacob doesn't "touch" James and his path leads to one without crime...although he is still chasing the con man.

Right, yet at the same time, he still wants to kill Cooper.  Though when Miles said he's going to try to talk him out of it, Sawyer says "fair enough," so maybe he's less vengeful than in the other timeline.

Right and remember...is that still Locke's dad?

I would have to assume so, and what's also ironic is that sideways-Locke seems to have a good relationship with his dad/Cooper as we saw a picture of him on his desk and Helen wanted to invite him to the wedding.

Seems so - I mean there were pictures of cooper in Locke & Helen's house.

Since he wasn't supposed to be there....maybe he was just hoping his good buddies would catch her.....some of LA's finest!
