Austen = 51

I saw Austen at number 51, and it was NOT crossed out.

Linus was number 117 and it was crossed out.

I had assumed Jacob and MIB's lists, were, however impossible. Identical.
Guess not.

Maybe the Lighthouse is really Jacobs list of Candidates and the Cave is were MIB was tracking Jacobs list and writing them on the wall.  It's possible that MIB purposely didnt' show Sawyer her name, in case it would keep him interested in staying on the island.  If MIB is recruiting, he wants these guys to buy in to his story that it's just an island, and hey together we can just leave.

But why is she not one of the Big 6 numbers. Those 6 have to be special for some reason.

Well lets see.  If we add Jack (23) + Sayid (16) + Hugo (8) + Locke (4) = 51.  So basically that's nothing! 

It would have been cool if she was 38.  Jack (23) + Sawyer (15).  Well, maybe not.
