As an experienced mom, I really think the October date is the EDD (estimated due date) as opposed to the ultrasound date.  It's very common for an US printout to have a due date based on the LMP, another due date based on the baby's measurements, as well as an ultrasound date.

Leia, I was thinking the same thing, and when you add a month to the 36 weeks Ethan said she was at, puts her at 40 weeks.

Boom!  you solved the mystery, good job

I think it's just another prop error like Sayid's Iranian passport.

In the pilot episode, Claire starts to have labor pains, and Jack runs over to help. Her having labor pains the same day in the new timeline also would make alot of sense connecting the 2 together.

I don't think this is an error, Jack's row/seat number was one off in LA X last week. Jack was in row 23 on the original 815, this time he is in row 24.

Can anybody see what is written before the 10-22-04 on the ultrasound?  Does it say EDD (estimated due date) or something else?  PL is right about ultrasounds having the due date on them, but then again, most lab reports of any type also have the date that the test was taken on it, too.

Solost is right -- we've already seen some minor discrepancies in the two timelines.  It could be a month off as well.

Either way, great eyes there, JMart.

It looks to me like it just says D: 10-22-04.
Just above it is a time stamp, as well.

I just dug out the 3 sonograms i had and they all only have the date I had it done, not my due date. Of course, PL has a lot more experience and we are in different states, have had them done by different machines in different years so all we have to do is find out what kind of real sonogram they based the fake one on and we'll have our answer! Simple, right? lol.

Cool, great find -- hmm any theories why?

BTW - Does the hosptical name show up anyplace? Is it jacks hospital?

its also on the screen shot: Angel of Mercy Hospital

Interesting bit of info on Angels of Mercy Hospital:
http://www.seeing-stars.com/Dexter/Hospital.shtml

This is the old Loma Vista Hospital, located at 610 S. St. Louis Street, in the Boyle Heights section of East Los Angeles.  Empty since 1990,  the 1937 hospital has been used as the filming location for many a movie and TV show, including "Pearl Harbor", Arnold Schwarzenneger's "End of Days" and Jennifer Lopez's "The Cell". And obviously Dexter as well. And Lost. :o)

Good catch on this!  Also, great point Princess Leia!

I kind of like the idea, however, that 815 takes off on a different date in this timeline.  After all, who says that it had too?  And by "I like the idea" I don't mean this is what I think is true, it just means that would be cool.  In all honesty, I'm with Princess Leia.

Is the date on Sayid's passport the date of travel, or the expiration date?

Cayley, I was trying to read your recap, but I can't get to it... my computer won't link to it.   >:(   (In fact, the front page of Sledgeweb is all messed up for me -- no backgrounds, looks different, etc.  Is anyone else noticing that or is it just me?  My computer has been wonky lately so I wouldn't be surprised if it was me...)
