What's Hot: Season 6 Start Date Announced
Tonight Locke entered the cabin to meet Jacob, and who was there waiting for him...none other than Christian Shepard. But Christian clearly tells Locke, "He can speak for Jacob." So is Christian Jacob, or just a manifestation Jacob is using? You tell us.
During their quest to find the Cabin, Locke finds a nice blue print of Horace Godspeed's, who was building the cabin.
Today I went back and exported nearly 500 jpegs from the cabin scene in LOST 4x01, "The Beginning of the End". I enhanced the photos by adjusting curves to bring out details, and I think this helps solidify a few assumptions of who is in the cabin (or at least, who appears to be in the cabin - or maybe, who the thing in the cabin chooses to manifest itself as). Of course, all of this raises a brand new set of questions for us to consider. For a more detailed look at the cabin sequence, follow the jump and read the rest of this article.
In 4x01 just after seeing Jacob / Christian in his rocking chair, a familiar eye pops up at the window scaring Hurley half out of his wits. But who's eye was it? Could it have been Locke, in the cabin visiting with Jacob? It seems likely, given that Locke shows up outside the vanished cabin shortly after. And, we know that Locke has some sort of connection with Jacob, he heard Jacob speak, which sent Ben into a jealous fit. Is Locke now taking directions from Jacob? Was Walt's appearance to Locke in the Dharma grave created by Jacob somehow?
In 4x01 Hurley stumbles across Jacob's ladder... I mean, Cabin. Upon looking through the window he sees what we'd assume was Jacob sitting in the chair. However, the shadowy figure in the chair looks an awful lot like Christian Shepard this time around. Couldn't be, could it? If it's Jacob, why is he sitting in a broke down cabin in the middle of a psychotic fantasy island in a suit and tie... and sneakers? Judge for yourself and let us know your thoughts. Nice shoes, Chrisob.
