I figured that if Lost was going to take a break, so would I. Now Lost is back and so is the poll review. "There's No Place Like Home, Part 1" received strong reviews earning an 8.38 rating. I was surprised that this episode earned such a high mark since it did not have very much action and was more of a set up for the two hour finale. The SWLS users gave it strong marks with only one low score and 53.2% scoring it a 9 or 10. Even PointPlace gave it an extremely rare 10! Surprised by PointPlace's generosity, some members are demanding he provide a urine sample. Since most agreed with him, he was spared "the cup", for now.

4x04_segmentRatings.jpgLast week, we got the Kate-centric "Eggtown"; the fourth episode in the fourth season of LOST. The segment ratings were the lowest yet, as were the overall episode ratings for "Eggtown". This was also the first episode to not have at least two consecutive higher rated segments. Instead, we see a yo-yo effect, with the ratings going up and down with each passing segment. Once again, the cliffhanger segment was the highest rated, but compared to the previous two episodes, the segment ratings for "Eggtown" are pretty rough. The new season is already four episodes old and it is time to exam what our memebers think of the season. After analyzing the poll results it is clear that our members are really enjoying this season. SWLS members have given this season an average rating of 8.2. The smooth addition of four new characters has gone over much better than the Nikki and Paulo mistake of last season. Let's take a closer look at each episode this season.

4x04 BooksThere are two books seen on episode 4x04, "Eggtown". The first one, a book that Locke takes to Ben from Ben's own bookshelf, is "Valis", by Philip K. Dick.

The book Sawyer is reading ("The Invention of Morel"), however, is even more interesting. The plot synopsis reads as follows:

"A fugitive hides on a deserted island somewhere in Polynesia. Tourists arrive, and his fear of being discovered becomes a mixed emotion when he falls in love with one of them. He wants to tell her his feelings, but an anomalous phenomenon keeps them apart."

4x04_AaronsRoom.jpgIn 4x04, Eggtown, we learned, shockingly, that Kate's baby was actually none other than island born little Aaron. These are some pics of his room, and it appears as any typical little boys room would. We did notice that the image of the bike on the wall appears to have a playing card in the image. Looks like it might be the 7 of spades. This is only a little odd due to the playing cards we also saw Dan and Charlotte using on the beach.

Take a look at the pictures and let us know if you see anything that we didn't.

Last week on Lost we learned that Sayid was one of the Oceanic 6, but since being rescued and returned to normal life, he's taken on quite a new and interesting career choice...as Ben Linus' henchmen, apparently hunting down and killing people who Ben claims are a danger to the others. Whether he meant the other Oceanic 5, the rest of the 815 survivors still on the island, or both is still unknown. Or is Ben, once again, lying and bending the truth in order to meet his own needs? This probably has us all wondering what could possibly have convinced Sayid to trust Ben.

Ratings for last week's episode were down slightly, although it still finished in 4th place for the week with 13.8 million viewers. The episode did air on Valentine's Day, which could have accounted for a loss of some viewers.
