In "The Constant", for the first time, we successfully see one of the 815ers leave the island. We know people have been able to get out using the sub, before Locke blew it up, but haven't seen anyone else leave. We know Michael was told to leave by boat, keeping to a 325 heading. Dan's map for the Lawnmower Man indicated he should head North at 305 degrees. Why is this different than the Boat? I'm not sure. But, figuring this out may be easier than decoding Dan's journal, or his chalkboard. Let us know what you think in the comments below!
In "The Constant" (Episode 5 of the 4th season of LOST), we get our first look at the not-penny's-boat. It appears it's name is "Kahana". Sounds Hawaiian, right? And since LOST is filmed in Hawaii, appropriately so. According to wiki: In Hawaiian, "kaha" means "to mark, draw, place, turn or surf," and "na" means "belonging to." There is a place on Oahu named Kahana Valley, so perhaps this is a reference to that? If you find any other meaning or anagrams for Kahana, let us know in the comments below! During the funeral ceremonies in "Three Minutes", Sun looks out to the ocean and notices a boat. She screams out "Boat!", and everyone turns and looks at the vessel in astonishment. Could this be Desmond's sailboat? Is he on it? Or has it just sailed around the island on its own? Looks like we'll have to wait until the season finale to see what is aboard the ship.
