5x12_risk.jpgEver since Sun and Frank went back to Othersville a couple of weeks ago, and we got to see the condition the barracks were in, plus the fact that there were apparantly still Dharma photos hanging up, people started to cry alternate timeline. I mean, how else could the barracks look SO different than when we last saw them. The theory was that something must have been changed in the past to cause the difference. But tonight when Ben entered his old house he looked at a Risk board laying on a table, a subtle clue that nothing has changed.

5x11_hurley_miles.jpgHurley and Miles started a new, special kind of friendship tonight that I hope we see more of in the future. Of course, it does make me worry for MIles a little. Afterall, people who come in contact with Hurley don't always fare so well. But in Whatever Happened, Happened there was some fantastic dialog between the two on the specifics of time travel. Hurley definitely represents many of the feelings the fans have had this season. Follow the jump for a clip of their time travel discussion from tonight.

5x08_charlotte_girl.jpgA couple of episodes ago we got to see Charlotte explain to Daniel how a man scared her on the island as a child, telling her to leave and never come back. She thought that man was Daniel. Tonight, it seemed to plague Daniel, and he uttered more than once that he 'wouldn't tell her this time.' But the hardest moment for him by far came in the Dharma camp, when he actually spotted the future girl of his dreams as innocent as ever.

3x13: The Art of OthersvilleIn 3x13, "The Man from Tallahassee", we get a good look inside some of the houses in Othersville. The living quarters seem to be well decorated with what appears to be paintings of the island. In addition, in Ben's place, there is an abundance of "primitive" wood carved art. Could this be a link to the four toed statue? As Patchy pointed out, The Others have been on the island for a very long time. Given the statue, and these wood carvings, is it possible that The Others are linked to an ancient civilization that inhabited the island? Or, perhaps Ben just collects these pieces when he visits the outside world.

In addition, there are a number of other unique pieces in Ben's place. Several pictures of a younger Alex. A picture of some woman sitting in a chair in the jungle holding something in her hands. A map of constellations (I think). A picture of a thatched roof hut. And some kind of drawing.

It all looks like very bad feng-shui to me.

3x12: OthersvilleAfter a long day of intercepting and blowing up makeshift rafts on the seas to abduct children, kidnapping a pregnant woman, hanging a washed up rock star, killing some random guy on the beach, convincing a survivor from a plane crash to lead some of his buddies into a trap, getting caught in a net, faking being the survivor of a balloon crash and getting caught (and beaten), going through surgery to remove a tumor ... well, you just need a place to unwind. A place where everybody knows your name. And, they're always glad you came. You want to be where you can see, Our troubles are all the same. You want to be where everybody knows your name: OTHERSVILLE!

3x12: Electrical MapIn 3x12, "Par Avion", we get a better look at the electrical map that Sayid took from The Flame station in 3x11, "Enter 77". The map shows the "barracks" where The Others live. It also has some indications about subterranean passages.
Mikhail asked Sayid to check the map to see if the security perimeter encircled the barracks. Indeed, the map does seem to show the pylons circling Camp Others.
Unfortunately, the map doesn't yield much else. It's very details, however, in terms of layout and positioning of the buildings located at the barracks.
