In one of the best scenes of the night Dr. Chang busts in on Miles, Jin, and Hurley getting ready to flee dharmaville. Chang wants to know if they're really from the future, and Hurley awkwardly denies it. Chang knows just the question to ask too, first asking when Hurley was born, and finally asking him who was the president. You can see Hurley struggling for just a moment before he spills the beans. What's even more funny is that when they arrived at Dharmaville, Hurley asked Sawyer what he should do if they ask him questions, like who the president is. And Sawyer just responded wtih this isn't a gameshow. See! If Sawyer had just told him who the president was, Hurley could have pulled it off!

Thumbnail image for 042409miles.jpgI'm back!! After a very busy time and a fantastic vacation it is time to get back to my episode rating reviews. I want to thank Laklost for filling in for me last week and doing two episode reviews. It was fantastic and a hard act to follow. Thank you Laklost, you are the best!!

I was stunned after watching "Some Like it Hoth". Not stunned because it was such a great episode, but stunned that our users liked it so much. They gave it a 8.52 average, which was dragged down some by a two and my 6. I am usually not that far off in opinion from our users. 76% gave this episode a 9 or 10 rating! Follow the break to see some of their comments.

5x13_bram.jpgOne of the more interesting reveals in Some Like It Hoth was when Miles was Vannapped by good ole Bram, who we know from the Ajira plane crash. Bram seemed to make it quite clear that he was not working for Charles Widmore, nor should MIles work for 'the wrong side.' So if Bram isn't batting for Widmore's team, is he part of Ben's ensemble? Or are Bram and Ilana part of a whole new group, with a whole new set of objectives for the island. I'm starting to get confused and lose track of who's who here. Who's side do you think Bram is on?

5x13_swan_2.jpgHurley and Miles were treated to a nice little surprise tonight when they got to see the Swan station being built. We also learned that the grid it was being built in is in the hostile's area and they are building it, somehow, in secret (or at least they seem to think that they are). Hurley was also a little freaked out as he watched the workers stamp his anti-lucky numbers into the hatch door as a serial number (why exactly the hatch door needs a serial number is beyond me).

some like it hoth.jpgThe title of this week's episode of Lost has one of the most intriguing titles ever, Some Like It Hoth. It is interesting to note that Jack, Hurley and the gang are in 1977, the same year Star Wars debuted, however I have yet to see a movie theatre on the island. So does the title have something to do with the Hoth like environment around the Donkey Wheel? Do Miles and Hurley sneak off and catch a premiere of the show? Or perhaps the temperatures drop so fiercely in Dharmaville that Jack and Sawyer are forced to cut Hurley open in order to stay warm (And you thought they smelled bad on the outside). One thing is for sure, many of us can't wait to see what cute and relevant way "Hoth" plays into tonight's episode of Lost. So let us know what you think. Or, discuss tonight's episode in the Hype Thread! For more details and a preview, just turn the page.

5x11_hurley_miles.jpgHurley and Miles started a new, special kind of friendship tonight that I hope we see more of in the future. Of course, it does make me worry for MIles a little. Afterall, people who come in contact with Hurley don't always fare so well. But in Whatever Happened, Happened there was some fantastic dialog between the two on the specifics of time travel. Hurley definitely represents many of the feelings the fans have had this season. Follow the jump for a clip of their time travel discussion from tonight.

5x09-13 copy.jpgLOST returns from a one week hiatus tonight, with "Namaste"! Two weeks ago, "LaFleur" filled in some of the three year gap in the lives of our Losties between the exit and return of the Oceanic 6. Led by Sawyer, our friends are now heavily entrenched in Dharma - oh, and also stuck in the 1970's. Tonight's title seems to promise more Dharma goodness. Preview and details after the jump.

There has been some Lost news making its way out from the current filming in Hawaii. Reliable information is few and far between but sources at tvguide.com and ew.com have come across a few new items.
-A second new character has been cast. Said Taghimaoui, a Frenchman seen in traitor, will play Caesar. Not much is known about Caesar except that he is mysterious and will be associated with Llana, a new character played by Zuleikha Robinson. Carlton Cuse stated that Caesar will play "an important part of the setup for the final act of the show in season 6".
-Michelle Rodriquez will appear in the second episode along with Cheech Marin. It appears that Hurley will be seeing dead people again.
-Desmond has filmed a scene with Ben.
-Hurley has filmed a scene in a jail.
-Sawyer, Juliet, Daniel, Miles, Charlotte and some one else will learn of Jin's fate at the precise moment we do during episode 4.
-Claire will not be in season 5 but will be back for season 6.
Please post your thoughts about these tidbits. SWLS would like to hear your thoughts and prediction for season 5.

4x02 Is Eko in Ghost Boys House"Confirmed Dead", the second episode of the fourth season of LOST on ABC, seems to hold a big easter egg (at least potentially). In a flashback, Miles visits Ms. Gardner to do some ghostbusting (Who you gonna call? ... Miles?). Inside the house, we several photos on the walls, but one photo stands out as being different than all of the rest of them. It looks like it could have been taken outside, like outside in Africa! The photo of this boy shows up in 3 different places during the scene, obviously showing its importance. The photo appears in at least two different frames downstairs, and a shot from upstairs seems to show a third framing of the photo.

The resemblance, between Eko as a boy and the boy in the picture is certainly very close, and could indeed be the same person. But this raises many new questions as to why a picture of a boy who grew up in Nigeria and never stepped foot in America, as far as we know, could end up in this Californian home. One thing is certain, the ghost boy upstairs couldn't be Eko. But could he be related to Eko somehow? Only time will tell. What do you think?

4x02 Photo of BenIn LOST Season 4 Episode 2, after learning Juliet was not on Flight 815, Miles reveals to Jack that they have come to the island to find Benjamin Linus. Accordingly, he whips out a photo of 70's looking Ben in some non-island location. While this is certainly interesting, nothing easter-eggish jumps at us from the photo. Do you see anything good?
