When Frank reappeared on the Hydra island Ilana demanded "what lies in the shadow of the statue," an obvious code of somekind that Frank didn't even TRY to guess. I mean, come on, in that situation you at least gotta throw out a guess, like "Twinkies!" So this begs the question, who is Ilana, and who's side is she on? Okay, so we hate to make it seem like anytime there's a small amount of smoke in an episode of Lost that it means that Smokey was there, but rewatching the scene where Christian opens the door in Othersville, there is obviously quite a bit of what looks like smoke behind him. Then, as they enter the house, the door opens to a strange squeaking sound and the smoke swirls through the rooom. So is this Smokey, and proof that somehow Smokey is involved in the Christian sightings? Or is this mearly a smoky room and the wind is blowing through the door, making it swirl? I, for one, think that its Smokey.

Episode 5x06 "316" set a new ratings record with an incredible 9.35 average. SWLS members absolutely loved this episode. 73% of all votes were a perfect 10. 92% of all votes were for scores of 8 or higher. There was a vote one vote each for a rating of 6 or 7. Neither voter posted a reason for those ratings. Viewers want the main characters of Lost to be together and we now have the Oceanic 6 (minus Aaron) back on the island with Sawyer, Jin, Juliet and friends. Due to a recorder malfunction, I was not able to watch last night's episode of LOST, but I had read your post of the official blurb from ABC earlier in the day. It lists "Jeff Fahey as Frank Lapidus" among the credits. Since I couldn't watch the new episode of LOST, I did the next best thing and picked up the season 3 DVD and re-watched an episode. We watched the episode "Expose", and by sheer coincidence I decided to freeze frame on the shot of Nikki's Expose script where the cast is listed. What do you know, but there is another guy with the last name "Lapidus" listed as an actor for that episode of "Expose"! I suspect it's just a reuse of an interesting name by the show creators, but you never know what connections there are in the LOST universe. Incidentally, Lapidus means "candle," or "torch" according to Wikipedia. Reminds me of "Marvin Candle".
