5x09_claire_3.jpgIf you rewatch the scene where Christian takes Sun into the house, at the end of the scene, if you watch very closely, you'll notice that there is another woman in the room. At the very end, just after Christian says "You have a long road ahead of you," and it goes to a tight push in shot on Sun. Over Sun's shoulder you can clearly see a figure, that appears to be a blond female, move her head. So are we to believe that Claire was in the room with Christian?

5x04_hatch_light.jpg As the losties began to flash through time on the island, the inevitable question of whether or not they could run into themselves starting popping up everywhere. "The Little Prince" answered that, as Locke caught a far off glimpse of the hatch light they he caused, and Sawyer watched the birth of Aaron take place at near arm's length (where Kate was present). Follow the link below for images, and let us know what implications you think this revelation has in the comments section.

Season 5 Lost Poster

Just before Thanksgiving, ABC released the new promo poster for Lost, season 5. It is an interesting image with the group that got off the island on one side, with a backdrop of a city, and those who remained on the island on the otherside. It should be noted that Claire is missing from the image entirely, as is Jin (which should be expected since we saw him blow up on the boat).

There has been some Lost news making its way out from the current filming in Hawaii. Reliable information is few and far between but sources at tvguide.com and ew.com have come across a few new items.
-A second new character has been cast. Said Taghimaoui, a Frenchman seen in traitor, will play Caesar. Not much is known about Caesar except that he is mysterious and will be associated with Llana, a new character played by Zuleikha Robinson. Carlton Cuse stated that Caesar will play "an important part of the setup for the final act of the show in season 6".
-Michelle Rodriquez will appear in the second episode along with Cheech Marin. It appears that Hurley will be seeing dead people again.
-Desmond has filmed a scene with Ben.
-Hurley has filmed a scene in a jail.
-Sawyer, Juliet, Daniel, Miles, Charlotte and some one else will learn of Jin's fate at the precise moment we do during episode 4.
-Claire will not be in season 5 but will be back for season 6.
Please post your thoughts about these tidbits. SWLS would like to hear your thoughts and prediction for season 5.

I figured that if Lost was going to take a break, so would I. Now Lost is back and so is the poll review. "There's No Place Like Home, Part 1" received strong reviews earning an 8.38 rating. I was surprised that this episode earned such a high mark since it did not have very much action and was more of a set up for the two hour finale. The SWLS users gave it strong marks with only one low score and 53.2% scoring it a 9 or 10. Even PointPlace gave it an extremely rare 10! Surprised by PointPlace's generosity, some members are demanding he provide a urine sample. Since most agreed with him, he was spared "the cup", for now.

Season 4 part 2, started off with a bang, both literally and figuratively. 4x09 "The Shape Of Things To Come" got the viewers right back into the action, gave us some answers and many more questions. Lost came out of the gates with both guns blasting and a freiight train named Smokie. The SWLS users really liked this episode. An 8.4 overall rating shows a strong positive reaction to this episode. 84% of the voters gave it an 8 or higher. A user did give it a 1, but did not post a reason for that low score. Otherwise it was 6 or higher. SWLS members are very hard graders and compare Lost against it self not other shows. Many have stated that they are holding onto a 10 for the best episode ever. So an 8.4 average is a strong rating.

The audience of Lost has been looking for something since Season One and the night that Claire woke up in the caves screaming that someone was attacking her. We called them the Others because they are mercilessly at cross purposes to our group of Losties from Oceanic 815. We figured that they had a leader and guessed that it was everyone from Tom Friendly to the erstwhile Jacob to enigmatic Richard until we realized by the end of Season Three that it was Ben. Now we seem to be looking for a bad guy -- the person to aim our energy and anger at, the person to defeat in order for our heroes to be free and equal. The advertising trailers for Season Four have suggested that the freighter folks are bringing worse trouble than any we have known on the island thus far. So we've been watching, waiting for a name. Charles Widmore seems now to be on the short list of people to call villain. But I've got news for you. The writers of Lost are screaming at us that there is one villain and his name is Benjamin Linus. No other character in the Lost universe is more of a lying manipulator than he is. No one else has stooped lower to reach his goals. The audience seems prepared to forgive him while they castigate Locke for misguided decisions, Jack for arrogance and Michael for working for personal reasons. I suggest we redirect our judgment where it belongs.

3x12: The Hurley/Harley TatA couple users have suggested this could be a "Harley Davidson" tattoo, which is very likely. See comments below.
In 3x12, "Par Avion", we discover that Claire worked at a tattoo and piercing shop in Sydney. When Christian comes to visit her at work, we get a brief glimpse of a sheet containing tattoo patterns on the front of the counter. It appears the top center tattoo is the word "hurley". Probably nothing more than an easter egg for us to find, but perhaps we will see a Hurley-Claire connection down the road?
A promo photo confirms the word ends in "..rley", and the screencap from 3x12 seems to indicate the word starts with "hu....".
Maybe we'll find out sometime later that Claire is sporting the "Hurley" tattoo somewhere on her person. :)

3x12: Half Siblings, Jack and ClaireYou might remember the "Jack Has a Half-Sister" investigation from season 2. In episode 2x20, Christian showed up at Lindsey's house demanding to see his daughter. After 3x12, "Par Avion", we now know that Lindsey is Claire's aunt, and she was taking care of Claire after her mom was put into a coma from a car crash.

We finally know (it has been long speculated), that Claire is Jack's half sister. Christian is the father to both of them, but they each have different mothers. That also means Jack is Aaron's uncle.

Oceanic-Air.com: Claire's DiaryWhen Charlie's seat (29C) was clicked on official ABC site, http://www.oceanic-air.com in 2005 (may no longer work), Claire's diary is seen, though it is small and hard to read. Ex-boyfriend Thomas' face is scratched out.

2x21: Eko and Claire's Psychic ConnectionIn "?", Eko is acting as a priest in Australia. He is asked to look into a supposed miracle: a young woman drowned, and later came back to life. It turns out the woman is the daughter of Richard Malkin, the psychic Claire visited in Season 1. Malkin told Claire that she had to raise the baby herself (instead of giving it away), and is ultimately responsible for Claire being on Flight 815. Malkin tells Eko that he is a fraud, and that he exploits people for a living, and that his daughter didn't come back to life as the result of a miracle.

2x20: Jack's has a Half-SisterIn "Two for the Road", a drunken Christian Shephard visits a house late at night. There, he argues with an Australian accented woman, demanding to see his daughter. So, it sounds like Jack has a half-sister in Sydney.
