What's Hot: Season 6 Start Date Announced
We get to take a break from all of the time travel talk with another guest writer, Hurley Rocks Dudes. He explains why exactly Hurley Rocks Dude! Any SWLS user is invited to submit articles to any of the mods. Enjoy!
Hey everybody! I just thought I would share some thoughts with you all and thanks to Jugdish for the opportunity. I thought for a while what I was going to write about, and now I have figured it out. Why not write an article on my favorite character? Obviously that would be Hurley, or Hugo Reyes. Hurley is the most likeable character on LOST for a few reasons. He always provides us with a good laugh, like throwing a hot pocket at Ben, or building a golf course, and even driving the DHARMA van. One of the funniest Hurley moments was when he, Locke, and Ben were visiting Jacob. Hurley and Ben are waiting outside, Hurley opens a candy bar, Ben looks at him, and Hurley thinks for a moment, then tears the candy bar in two, and gives Ben the bigger piece.
Following the continue reading link below is a selection of interesting images from 5x02, "The Lie". These include a second look at Ana Lucia, who returned in a cameo ghost / illusion / island manifestation appearance to Hurley; the gunman who intercepts Sawyer and Juliet in the jungle - possibly AstroJones; Aaron's coloring book; Expose; and a flaming frogurt.
ABC has decided to follow up the preview episode of Season 5 with another new episode. This is not a two hour season premier but separate episode that was originally designed to be shown a week later. This episode is a Hurley centric show that will focus on the Oceanic 6 and the 'lie" they have been telling for the last three years. A sneak peek has already been released by abc. It shows the Oceanic 6 discussing "The Lie" on Penny's boat before they were "rescued". An earlier sneak peek showed Kate being given a court order for a paternity test for Aaron. It appears that forces are working behind the scenes to get the Oceanic 6 back together and to expose the truth.
Multiple sources have confirmed to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello exclusively that Michelle Rodriguez (a.k.a. Ana Lucia) is returning to Lost for one episode in the new season.
Details of her comeback are, not surprisingly, shrouded in secrecy, but here's what Entertainment Weekly can tell you:
Thanks to EW for the alert.
In 4x01 we get to see Big Mike again, the ex-partner of Ana Lucia from season 2. It just wouldn't be LOST without character connections in the flashbacks... uh, and flash-forwards. Big Mike has finally made detective, and is for some reason investigating pretty much a non-issue with Hurley's flight from a convenient store turned into high speed chase. I hope the detective can crack the case. Big Mike asks Hurley if he met Ana on the plane, or before the flight left, but Hurley isn't saying anything. Apparently, the whole island thing is top secret amongst the Oceanic Six (Jack, Kate, Hurley and three unknowns).
There was another nice NUMBERS easter egg in "Two for the Road". There is a wide establishing shot of a bunch of police cars parked at the police station as Ana rolls in. The shot was a little longer than it needed to be, just so we noticed that the numbers on the police cars correspond with THE NUMBERS.
In "Two for the Road", we find out that Christian Shephard, Jack's father, invites Ana-Lucia to go with him to Sydney as a bodyguard. In Sydney, Sawyer bumps into the car Ana-Lucia and Christian are sitting in outside the bar where Sawyer and Christian soon meet. This is a unique, three person connection in LOST.
