What's Hot: 4x03: Ben's Secret Playhouse
As we watched tonight's episode, perched on the edge of our seats, no doubt, as the freighter blew up before ours and our losties eyes. Many of us couldn't help but share Sun's painful screams as she watched her husband, Jin, perish in the ship's explosion. But a closer look at the scene immediately before the explosion appears to show nobody standing near the back of the boat where Jin was last seen. So I'll ask the question...could he have somehow made it off that boat before it exploded? This is lost, and we never actually saw him die. Let us know what your thoughts are on Jin's fate.
In the Season 4 finale of LOST, Ben uses a frozen donkey wheel to "move" the island. A bright light fills the sky, similar to what we saw with the Hatch Explosion, and then, the island disappears. A "hole" in the water can be seen closing up, filling in where the island use to be. But, where did it go? What exactly is the island, and how does this magical wheel in an oddly frozen underground cave control it? Bigger pics after the jump.

When Ben uses the Frozen Donkey Wheel to move the island, he is in an old cave in which there are some hieroglyphs. Of course, we first caught sign of such glyphs on the Hatch Computer count down doomsday clock. Then, we saw glyphs in Ben's secret cave inside his secret room, inside a secret room. These glyphs seem to be tied to the natives of the island, and the four-toed statue, temple, and ruins we have seen or heard about. Of course, we don't really know what any of this is about... but we have two more seasons to find out. Take a closer look after the jump, and send your translations to us in the comments section!

Part of the cover-up story involving the crash of Oceanic Flight 815 involves the Oceanic 6 being helped ashore by some fishermen on a small remote island in the Pacific. To help convince the public, a fake photo of that "rescue" has been staged and presented at a press conference. Get a better view of the photo by clicking the Continue Reading link below.
Someone is going to a lot of trouble to keep the truth about Oceanic Airlines under wraps. Obviously, Widmore has something to gain by keeping his staged wreck a secret, but why are all the Losties participating in a cover up? In "There's No Place Like Home, Part 1", the Oceanic 6 attend a joint press conference with Oceanic representatives where a cover up story explains that the survivors washed up on a remote island. Here are some maps showing the cover-up locales. Bigger pics after the jump.
In "There's No Place Like Home, Part 1", Dan finds out that Keamy is headed toward the Orchid Station. The news sets off alarm bells in Dan's head, as he realized the backup plan is being initiated. Dan looks up some notes he made on the Orchid in his book, which we get a quick glimpse out. Formulas surround the logo, and some writing, which includes "space like factors", "time like factors" and "Possible!". Get a larger view of the notes after the jump.

Kid Locke is asked by an immortal Richard Alpert to pick from a display of items objects which he already owns. This sort of test is used to pick a new Dali Lama when the current one dies. Is John Locke a reincarnation of sorts of the island, or Jacob? Perhaps his quest to find Jacob is sort of like Leroy Green's quest to find The Master in "The Last Dragon"? Sho' nuff! Locke fails the test when he picks the knife as being one of the objects he already owns. Other items present include a comic book, Book of Laws, a compass, and a vial with a coarse sand-like material.
A shot of the compass Locke holds as a young boy when Richard comes to visit him doesn't appear to be the same compass (inset) that Locke has used on the island.
We get to see a slightly nerdy John Locke as a teenager who got shoved into a locker at school. But if you look closely you'll see that whoever's locker that is happens to be a fan of Geronimo Jackson.
Locke is given a special invitation to Camp Mittelos as a teenager, and we see clearly that Richard Alpert, and possibly the "savages" were searching for someone special for a very long time.
After General Keamy broke out the Dharma Plan B workbook he was seen getting a strange XM radio pack strapped to his arm by the doc. We saw the same transmitter looking thing again on the deck (so obviously its important for us to notice this thing). So why exactly does Keamy need XM radio on the island?
Tonight Locke entered the cabin to meet Jacob, and who was there waiting for him...none other than Christian Shepard. But Christian clearly tells Locke, "He can speak for Jacob." So is Christian Jacob, or just a manifestation Jacob is using? You tell us.
During their quest to find the Cabin, Locke finds a nice blue print of Horace Godspeed's, who was building the cabin.
In an interesting scene on the boat Mr. Crazy Military man cracked open a safe and pulled out a "Plan B" document. But why is there a Dharma logo on this Widmore sponsered plan b? And is that the Orchid station logo?
Here are some requested screen shots from users that so far haven't mandated an independent investigation - but let us know if you see something interesting. Could the dog in Aaron's artwork be Vincent? See the pictures after the jump, and let us know what you think in the comments.
Every time Jack removes clothing, debates begin about his tats. I don't remember seeing the one on his back before, and the one on his inner arm above the "stars" tat doesn't look familiar, but perhaps I've just missed these before. It wouldn't be at of character for Jack to get some fresh tats after returning from the island. What exactly is that on his back though? A "K" and a "8"? K8 = Kate? With some kind of Decepticon symbol. Take a close look and let us know what you think in the comments. View a larger image after the jump.
Jack's picks up this paper near the beginning of episode 4x10, "Something Nice Back Home". The paper announces the Yankees sweep of the Boston Red Sox, which places this flash forward at the end of August, 2007 (see comments below). The article is written by Gregg Bilson... this seems to be a fake article, and Gregg Bilson is the founder of Independent Studio Services, a company that produces props for the film and television industry - so perhaps a reference to that Gregg Bilson? Also, of interests, there is an email address in a blank space below the article. It looks like marvin.mancia@studiographics.us ... interesting, when you type in studiographics.us in your browser, you go to the ISS site affiliated with Gregg Bilson. Looks like some inside promotion (Bilson has also appeared as a brand of cigarettes in LOST). I don't see a Marvin Mancia listed on their site, but they do use the name MANCIA in some product samples, viewed here. Larger view after the jump.
In 4x09, we learned Ben has the ability to summon the great Smoke monster from a cave connected to his secret hideout room. As smokey comes rumbling in like a freight train, we see several "flashes" on its "body". I can't discern anything definite in these flashes - unlike those we saw with Eko's encounter. There are also several flashes in the forest during Smokey's attack, but too little detail to be reavealing.
In 4x09, "The Shape of Things to Come", Ben plays a gamble with the life of his "daughter", Alex, and loses. Shocked (that the "rules" have changed), Ben hurries into his secret room, and then opens another secret door revealing some kind of ancient cave complete with hieroglyph like drawings (remember the hatch timer?). Moments later, the Smokey Train arrives to wipe out the bad guys. It looks like Ben has some ability to control smokey, who might be native to the island? We still don't know exactly what smokey is though. WHAT IS SMOKEY!? Follow the link to get a better view.
Ben's nice desert jacket bears an interesting name on the front of it. For those of you who may have missed it, Halliwax was the name that Marvin Kandle used in the Orchid video that was released before season 4 begun.
Ben gave us yet another new Dharma logo tonight when he showed up in the Sahara Desert sporting a coat with a logo on the shoulder. Could that be a small sprout, the logo of the infamous Orchid station? Let us know what you think it is.
A closer look at the closing scene from "Meet Kevin Johnson" reveals the shooter that takes down Carl and Rousseau. There's only a few frames of the killer, but we do get a glimpse of him. We have a large pic, plus an animated image available for a closer look after the jump. Tell us what you think in the comments below!

According to Tom (who, as it has been long speculated, turns out is gay - not that there's anything wrong with that), Charles Widmore is responsible for the fake Oceanic 815 discovered at the bottom of the Ocean. Of course, we previously heard from Widmore's people that Ben staged the fake plane, and that is one of the many reasons they are interested in him. In that account, Widmore went to great lengths to recover the Black Box, which he wouldn't have done had he put it there. So, who is responsible for the staged plane crash? My bet is on Ben, and that Tom's "story" is just a way to get Michael on board with their plan. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
We've got a lot of time to speculate this. Who was it that killed Carl, and shot Rousseau - and is she dead? Of course, the old "Who Shot..." cliffhanger has been done before, on Dallas it was "Who Shot JR?", and on the Simpsons, "Who Shot Mr. Burns?". Assuming it wasn't Kristin Shepard or Maggie Simpson, who do you think fired the shots? Did Ben send someone to snipe Danielle and Carl? Or is it someone from the boat? Remember, Lawnmower Man did take the copter out again, so perhaps the commandos are now on the island.
If you ask me, any problems with this episode can be summed up as such: "too much Michael, too little Walt". We only get a brief shot of Walt in the window of his grandma's house. The camera angle and lighting used appear to be an attempt to perhaps hide Walt's increased age and height. All the Christmas Trees around indicate this episode takes place some time in December of 2004. So, does this confirm that the Walt on the island, that motivates Locke to get out of the Dharma grave is not Walt? Is it Jacob manifesting as Walt?
It's hard to get any useful information from what you already know is a fake passport, but here is a closer look for those of you interested in KJ's credentials. We know Ben doesn't have any trouble getting fake passports, he has a drawer full of them, so it's no big surprise that he's able to hook Michael up with one. To view a larger image, follow the link that says "continue reading...".
Here's a closer look at the hand drawn map to the Temple that Ben passed along to Rousseau, Alex, and Carl in "Meet Kevin Johnson". The map is similar to the hand drawn map Dan and Charlotte used to find The Tempest Station. It's obviously a different map though. All you island charters, get to charting! The creators of LOST tried to pull a fast one on us tonight, in "Ji Yeon", the seventh episode of the fourth season of LOST. In an unprecedented move, we got an episode that split between flash forwards, and flash backs. For those of you still confused about what was going on, all of Jin's flashes were to the past, to the year 2000. The first clue for this was the Dragon the storekeep offers jin, which he hints would be good luck in the current year, the year of the dragon. The last year of the dragon was in 2000. The next is in 2012. A second hint for this was Jin's outdated cellphone. And lastly, Jin's tombstone indicated he died in the plane crash, and never made it off the island (but is he really dead?). Conversely, all of Sun's flashbacks were flash forwards, to sometime in the year 2005 (around August or so). We know this, also because of the tombstone, and because she is delivering the child she conceived on the island with Jin. Were you fooled? What did you think of the trick?
Poor, crazy little Regina was caught reading a book on the freighter just before she jumped overboard covered in chains for a little swim with the fishes. Her book choice? Jules Verne's The Survivior's of the Chancellor. Yet another theme relevant novel for our Losties.
In an interesting twist, we discover during the flash forward that Jin has died. Although the tombstone has the date of 9/22/2004 on it, the ate of the crash, Sun's reaction seems to indicate that he really did die, even if they did lie about how and when. But despite his looming death, we'll still get to see him next week. Maybe I'm the only one who finds that odd. What are your thoughts?
Looks like Michael has FINALLY returned as...(dun dun DUN!) Kevin Johnson. We get a quick shot of him on the deck of the boat, hiding behind two crewmen during the first of the episode, and finally get to meet him at the end.
While Daniel was plugging away on the keyboard in the Tempest we saw tons of things scrolling across the screen. Follow the jump for more images and a full transcript.

Okay, I'm starting to get the idea that Ben is quite the Voyeur. Here is a nice little video he had shot of Charles Widmore.
We got a shot of yet another Dharma Station and yet another Dharma Symbol tonight. Welcome to The Tempest.
In 4x06, The Other Woman, we got a nice, quick view of what appears to a hand-drawn map that Charlotte and Dan were using to find The Tempest.

If Dan's Journal didn't give you enough information to break your mind, maybe his chalkboard is up to the task. The creator's of LOST went full force into Time Travel with "The Constant". A time traveling rodent named Eloise gave us a glimpse into what might be happening with Desmond. Maybe. Right? But, what about Minkowski? Did he travel through time? I'm not sure, but if you want to be even more confused, I have some images of Dan's chalkboard uploaded. Just click the Continue Reading link to complete your mind's destruction. Or... maybe it's not really all that complicated. Take a look and find out!
In "The Constant", for the first time, we successfully see one of the 815ers leave the island. We know people have been able to get out using the sub, before Locke blew it up, but haven't seen anyone else leave. We know Michael was told to leave by boat, keeping to a 325 heading. Dan's map for the Lawnmower Man indicated he should head North at 305 degrees. Why is this different than the Boat? I'm not sure. But, figuring this out may be easier than decoding Dan's journal, or his chalkboard. Let us know what you think in the comments below!
"The Constant" was a mind blowing episode. In more ways than one. Everyone's going to be hitting up their astrophysicist friend tomorrow to help them explain what the heck was going on. Especially if you looked into Dan Faraday's journal... or chalkboard. Up until this point, the writer's of LOST have avoided any blatant paradoxes in their time travel stories, but not this time. Here goes the mind bending question of the night (which was asked in the episode), wouldn't Faraday remember his encounter with Desmond? It also appears than past-Dan first learned of the "formula" when Desmond told him the numbers from future-Dan, who got the numbers from his notebook... when he met Des... ah, never mind, I have a headache. It sure looked like future-Dan had never seen that note about Desmond being his constant until he was reading it on the beach. Ah well. Hopefully Sam and Ziggy will pop in and explain everything to us next week. Jump the break to see more pictures from the journal, and lets see what we can figure out!
In the fifth episode of the fourth season of ABC's LOST, we see a painting of the Black Rock being auctioned along with a ledger from the ship. According to the auctioneer, the ship was lost at sea. Lost? Not for us, we know that the Black Rock somehow ended up on Fun-Time island. The auction was won, of course, by Charles Widmore. We still don't know how he is tied into the details of the story of LOST, but it was good to see his face again. Will we find out more about the Black Rock in future episodes? What do you think?
In "The Constant" (Episode 5 of the 4th season of LOST), we get our first look at the not-penny's-boat. It appears it's name is "Kahana". Sounds Hawaiian, right? And since LOST is filmed in Hawaii, appropriately so. According to wiki: In Hawaiian, "kaha" means "to mark, draw, place, turn or surf," and "na" means "belonging to." There is a place on Oahu named Kahana Valley, so perhaps this is a reference to that? If you find any other meaning or anagrams for Kahana, let us know in the comments below! See a bigger picture after the jump.
There are two books seen on episode 4x04, "Eggtown". The first one, a book that Locke takes to Ben from Ben's own bookshelf, is "Valis", by Philip K. Dick.
The book Sawyer is reading ("The Invention of Morel"), however, is even more interesting. The plot synopsis reads as follows:
"A fugitive hides on a deserted island somewhere in Polynesia. Tourists arrive, and his fear of being discovered becomes a mixed emotion when he falls in love with one of them. He wants to tell her his feelings, but an anomalous phenomenon keeps them apart."
In 4x04, Eggtown, we learned, shockingly, that Kate's baby was actually none other than island born little Aaron. These are some pics of his room, and it appears as any typical little boys room would. We did notice that the image of the bike on the wall appears to have a playing card in the image. Looks like it might be the 7 of spades. This is only a little odd due to the playing cards we also saw Dan and Charlotte using on the beach.
Take a look at the pictures and let us know if you see anything that we didn't.

In Ben's Secret Playhouse, from "The Economist", we get a good look at one of Ben's many passports. I haven't had time to look at this closely yet, so give it a study and let us know what you discover in the comments below. View a larger size by clicking the Continue Reading link.
In "The Economist", episode 3 of the fourth season of LOST on ABC, Sayid puts a team together to invade Othersville. While searching Ben's house, Sayid finds a secret passage behind a bookshelf that leads to a hidden bunker. There, we see assorted clothing and luggage that seems to indicate Ben has traveled to and from the island. In a desk, Sayid also finds a bunch of money, and a bunch of passports. What has Ben been up to? Get a closer look on the next page.
In Season 4, episode 3 of LOST (The Economist), Sayid takes interest in zombie-Naomi's jewelry. In particular, a bracelet on her wrist, which bears an inscription from "R.G." -- exactly who it's from, we aren't sure. Interestingly, later in the same episode, we discover a similar bracelet on Elsa, the girl Sayid Bond is using to find his next target. Does this mean that Ben and Sayid are working against Michael Abaddon and his team? To protect the 815ers? Click the continue reading link to get a closer look.
In "The Economist", Daniel Faraday finds time to run a little experiment. Coordinating with Regina on the boat, Daniel sets up some sort of emitter, and tells Regina to fire the payload towards it. At first, it seems like the high-tech version of yard-darts failed. But a while later, a rocket appears in the sky, and races towards the location of Dan and his contraptions. Surprising, no one is alarmed about the safety of an inbound missile flying towards them with no means of slowing down. The missile avoids hitting anyone, or the copter. Then, something curious happens. Over the jump for more.
The following was submitted by SWLS reader, Joshua Wilson:
Due to a recorder malfunction, I was not able to watch last night's episode of LOST, but I had read your post of the official blurb from ABC earlier in the day. It lists "Jeff Fahey as Frank Lapidus" among the credits. Since I couldn't watch the new episode of LOST, I did the next best thing and picked up the season 3 DVD and re-watched an episode. We watched the episode "Expose", and by sheer coincidence I decided to freeze frame on the shot of Nikki's Expose script where the cast is listed. What do you know, but there is another guy with the last name "Lapidus" listed as an actor for that episode of "Expose"! I suspect it's just a reuse of an interesting name by the show creators, but you never know what connections there are in the LOST universe. Incidentally, Lapidus means "candle," or "torch" according to Wikipedia. Reminds me of "Marvin Candle".
Below are various screen caps that were requested by users. None of them appear to hold any really significant information, but maybe we've missed something. Use the comments and let us know if you see anything we missed.
During the flashback footage in 4x02, "Confirmed Dead", we get to see a clip of the Christiane I, which many of you will remember is the ship from the recent ARG (alternate reality game) find815. In this episode of LOST, the Christiane I is involved in the discovery of the wreckage of Flight 815 at the bottom of the Sunda Trench.
"Confirmed Dead", the second episode of the fourth season of LOST on ABC, seems to hold a big easter egg (at least potentially). In a flashback, Miles visits Ms. Gardner to do some ghostbusting (Who you gonna call? ... Miles?). Inside the house, we several photos on the walls, but one photo stands out as being different than all of the rest of them. It looks like it could have been taken outside, like outside in Africa! The photo of this boy shows up in 3 different places during the scene, obviously showing its importance. The photo appears in at least two different frames downstairs, and a shot from upstairs seems to show a third framing of the photo.
The resemblance, between Eko as a boy and the boy in the picture is certainly very close, and could indeed be the same person. But this raises many new questions as to why a picture of a boy who grew up in Nigeria and never stepped foot in America, as far as we know, could end up in this Californian home. One thing is certain, the ghost boy upstairs couldn't be Eko. But could he be related to Eko somehow? Only time will tell. What do you think?
Although we've known for some time (Season 3) that the rest of the world believes that Oceanic Flight 815 was found at the bottom of the ocean, with bodies intact, it wasn't until "Confirmed Dead" that we actually got to see for ourselves the discovery of the 815 wreckage. But, we know the real Flight 815 wreckage is on the island! What's going on here? Cover up?
From "Confirmed Dead", the entire seems to be astounded by the discovery of the wreckage of Oceanic Flight 815 at the bottom of the Sunda Trench. According to reports, all passengers are dead, forever entombed in the remains of the airship at the bottom of the Indian Ocean.
In a flashback scene from "Confirmed Dead", the second episode of the fourth season of LOST, Frank drops a toy airplane into a fish tank while watching the news footage of Oceanic 815's discovery. There's a mark on top of the plane, which resembles a Dharma Logo. Or, maybe just a hole. It's hard to tell due to the blurriness. You make the call!
In Season 4 of LOST on ABC, "Confirmed Dead", Frank Lepidus is sinking airplane models in his fish tank when he catches a news update on the discovery of Flight 815. Becoming slightly agitated at the report, Lawnmower Man calls in to let the people know they got some facts wrong. That isn't Flight 815 pilot Seth Norris at the bottom of the Sunda Trench! Why? The body doesn't have a wedding ring, and Seth would never take off his wedding ring! Then we learn Frank was suppose to be piloting 815 on that fateful September day in 2004, in place of his buddy Seth. Don't upset the Lawnmower Man!
In LOST Season 4 Episode 2, after learning Juliet was not on Flight 815, Miles reveals to Jack that they have come to the island to find Benjamin Linus. Accordingly, he whips out a photo of 70's looking Ben in some non-island location. While this is certainly interesting, nothing easter-eggish jumps at us from the photo. Do you see anything good?
If you're going to take your pet polar bear for a walk, you definitely want to make sure that you have a collar on it, you know, in case it gets lost, or goes after that sexy polar bear on the other side of the street. In 4x02, island newcomer Charlotte is seen in a flashback visiting a strange dig site in Tunisia. She find the bones of a polar bear in the desert with a collar next to it bearing (no pun intended) the Dharma Hydra Station Logo. What?! How old is Dharma exactly? Why is there a polar bear in the desert with a Hydra logo? How does this tie in with Dharma Polar Bears on the island? Time travel? Teleportation? My head hurts! View a bigger image after the jump.
Today I went back and exported nearly 500 jpegs from the cabin scene in LOST 4x01, "The Beginning of the End". I enhanced the photos by adjusting curves to bring out details, and I think this helps solidify a few assumptions of who is in the cabin (or at least, who appears to be in the cabin - or maybe, who the thing in the cabin chooses to manifest itself as). Of course, all of this raises a brand new set of questions for us to consider. For a more detailed look at the cabin sequence, follow the jump and read the rest of this article.
It's always interesting to look at the artwork that appears in LOST. I'm not sure there's much here, but I thought some of you would request to see it. I can make out what might be some vague interpretations of the Oceanic logo. And, the image on the bottom looks like a tribal mask of some sorts. It reminded me of all those masks we saw at Ben's place, so I included an image of that. If you see anything interesting, let us know in the comments below!
Besides possibly drawing on chalkboards at SRMHI, Hurley has also picked up more traditional forms of art. In 4x01, "The Beginning of the End", Hurley is seen working on a masterpiece before zombie Charlie appears. In stunning watercolor detail, the image captures Eskimo life at it's finiest. A warmly dressed man is depicted leaving his igloo with spear in hand. No doubt he is on his way to hunt Polar Bears.
Hurley opts to be readmitted to Santa Rosa Mental Health Institute in 4x01, "The Beginning of the End". Ahh, yes... the circle is complete. Does it make the show a little bit of a downer to know they are all going to all end up sad and depressed in the future? Hurley is attempting to relive island life, perhaps, with some serious chalkboard art. In the background, we see a chalkboard with what appears to be an island scene drawn on it. There is also a raft, and a shark! Maybe, it's Dharmy the Sharky! Is Hugo recreating the adventures of the rafters from Season 1?
In episode 401, "The Beginning of the End", there are a number of new questions raised. Chief amongst those is, "Who is driving the mystery car of death!?" That's right, the Bonneville of Destruction is back! Hurley slams into it with his camaro, which puts an end to his high speed chase. If you don't recall, the tan bonnie put Michael in the hospital, hit Locke in the parking lot, crashed into Kate during her hospital escape, and may have driven past Anthony Cooper in a scene from 3x13. Take a look for yourself, and let us know what you think. We know it's probably just a reused stunt / prop car, but I'm hoping we eventually get a whole episode devoted to the bonnie driver.
In 4x01, after Hurley's interrogation by Big Mike, something funny happens. As Hurley peers into the one-way window separating the room he is in from the observation room, he has a strange hallucination. Instead of seeing a reflection in the mirror, Hurley sees water. Then, a hooded figure, Charlie, swims up to the glass and stretches out his hand. As he does this, the glass shatters, flooding the room and sending Hurley into a panic. Right before the glass explodes, a message can be seen on Charlie's hand. "They Need You". The same message Charlie later delivers to Hurley in person at the nut-house.
In 4x01 just after seeing Jacob / Christian in his rocking chair, a familiar eye pops up at the window scaring Hurley half out of his wits. But who's eye was it? Could it have been Locke, in the cabin visiting with Jacob? It seems likely, given that Locke shows up outside the vanished cabin shortly after. And, we know that Locke has some sort of connection with Jacob, he heard Jacob speak, which sent Ben into a jealous fit. Is Locke now taking directions from Jacob? Was Walt's appearance to Locke in the Dharma grave created by Jacob somehow?
In 4x01 Hurley stumbles across Jacob's ladder... I mean, Cabin. Upon looking through the window he sees what we'd assume was Jacob sitting in the chair. However, the shadowy figure in the chair looks an awful lot like Christian Shepard this time around. Couldn't be, could it? If it's Jacob, why is he sitting in a broke down cabin in the middle of a psychotic fantasy island in a suit and tie... and sneakers? Judge for yourself and let us know your thoughts. Nice shoes, Chrisob.
In 4x01 we get to see Big Mike again, the ex-partner of Ana Lucia from season 2. It just wouldn't be LOST without character connections in the flashbacks... uh, and flash-forwards. Big Mike has finally made detective, and is for some reason investigating pretty much a non-issue with Hurley's flight from a convenient store turned into high speed chase. I hope the detective can crack the case. Big Mike asks Hurley if he met Ana on the plane, or before the flight left, but Hurley isn't saying anything. Apparently, the whole island thing is top secret amongst the Oceanic Six (Jack, Kate, Hurley and three unknowns).
In 4x01 a new mysterious man, claiming to be an Oceanic Attorney came to visit Hurley in the Crazy House. But at the end he demanded to know if "They were still alive." So, who exactly is this enigmatic figure? Does he really work for Oceanic? And who is he inquiring about? The people on the boat, or the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. Let the theorizing begin!
