What's Hot: Help Wanted
The end is here! As Lost comes to a close, the management here at Sledgeweb's Lost ... Stuff have decided to do things a little differently than we have in the past. For 5 seasons, Sledgeweb's Lost ... Stuff has had the best fans in the whole Lostiverse and we finally think that it's time prove how much we have appreciated them. To thank you and to show our appreciation for that loyalty we have decided to open up the front page articles to the everyday users. What specifically does that mean? It means that no matter where you stand in the SWLS hierarchy, from the lowliest Red Shirt to the most acclaimed Dharma Workman (or Woman) you can submit an article that will be printed on the front page of the site. Now we have done this before in a smaller scale, usually by invitation, but this time it is open to all. So
Do you think that Lost is the telling of the final battle between good and evil/Heaven and Hell and that our beloved Losties are just pawns in the whole mess? If so, write it up.
Do you think that the whole Lost series is just a bad dream that Hurley is having and in the finale he will wake up in the institution still talking to Dave? If so, write it up.
Do you think that Ben Linus is actually the reincarnation of Mister Rogers and crashing Flight 815 was just an elaborate attempt to get new folks to the neighborhood? If so, write it up.
Remember that when it comes to Lost, there are no stupid theories, only stupid users. Just kidding. Anyway, if you have an idea for an article, write it up and submit it and we will post it (within reason).
All articles should be sumbitted via private message or email to either Thlaylirah, Judgish or Castaway Cayley. Please allow approximately 3-5 business days before posting. Any questions, please feel free to comment here or via PM. Thanks in advance and we look forward to what is on your mind.
Our very own Holland34 wrote a fantastic poem about the ending of Lost. This poem is so good that it was featured on ew.com in Jeff Jensen's column. Did I say featured? Jeff Jensen was so impressed that he lead his column last week off with Holland34 poem. It has been posted on here before but this monumental event needs to be in the spot light. Enjoy the poem after the break and post your thoughts below.
Do you know who the patient was that Jack chose not to operate on in order to save Sarah? Do you know Kate's middle name? Do you know what state Sawyer was born in? If you answered any of these questions with a resounding YES, the UGO.com's new Lost Trivia Challenge might be just right for you. They currently have a Kate Edition, a Sawyer Edition, a Jack Edition, and a general Lost Trivia edition. Keep track of your score and attempt to out rank other fans of the show. If you love obscure Lost trivia, check it out!

On this Christmas night I hope we are all thinking of what the next month will bring us, and what joy we have had from seasons past. As we go to bed, may we have all have wonderful and magical Lost Christmas dreams.
I'm dreaming of a Lost Christmas
Just like the ones with Ethan Rom
Where the treeline rustles,
and Sawyer hustles
To shoot bears and boars and Tom.
I'm dreaming of a Lost Christmas
With every Other that you fight
May your bears and bunnies be white
And may all your Dharma Beers be light
I'm dreaming of a Lost Christmas
With marbles colored black and white
Where the tree frog's singing
And ears are ringing
From when the hatch blew up that night.
I'm dreaming of a Lost Christmas
With every number that is cursed.
May McCutcheon's knock down your thirst,
And may all your bad luck be reversed.
For those of you who don't know DocArzt, have you been living in a cave? Many Lost fans became aware of DocArzt on the popular Lost site, TheTailSection.com, to which he no longer contributes (his new site is www.docarzt.com). He is also someone that Sledge and myself would call a friend, and he's certainly been a friend to Sledgeweb's Lost...stuff, providing us with some great breaking news on occasion, and crediting SWLS as the first Lost site he visited regularly, as well as what inspired him to do his own site.
It has been one of the longest, slowest moving hiatuses in history...at least for me! But in a little over 47 days the best show to ever grace the small screen will return to us once again. As previsously mentioned here, January 21 is the date, with a 1 hour recap special (I'm starting to love these!) followed by the first two episodes, back to back, of season 5.
It is no doubt that most of you probably noticed that as Lost took a hiatus, so did many of the familiar faces at SWLS. In fact, apparently only Juggy didn't have enough accumulated vacation time to escape for a few months (or perhaps he pissed off Sledge). Juggy has been the glue of our contributors here and has definitely held the site together, without any other help, for the entire hiatus. Thanks Juggy! Everyone else be sure to let Juggy know how much you appreciate his time, energy, and excitement.
But with SWLS back in action, and Lost soon to follow, its time to make this site one of your everyday stops. So add us back to your bookmarks, send all of your friends an email, subscribe to the RSS feed to stay in the loop on new articles. The Island commands this of you! And stay tuned for all of the latest and greatest Lost updates.
There was so much to talk about in the finale of Season Four that I didn't know where to begin. It wasn't a perfect episode, but all in all I really enjoyed it. So I finally decided to narrow down what I wanted to say to a list of my favorite ten scenes. You may agree with some or all of these choices, or you may think I must have watched a completely different show. After the jump, you'll see what I considered the highlights of all three parts of "There's No Place Like Home."
It is that time of year again: the horrific waiting period from which there is no escape. But we are not the only ones who disdain the hiatus. From all corners of the island, the Lostians unite in a great battle to find who is the swiftest, the most cunning, the bravest. And they need your help. That's right, you will aid your favorite Lost character through a battle of wits and trickery, fighting for your own survival while aiding your teammates to survive and become the Lost Survivor!
You hear enough of our opinions on this site! We want to know what our users think! Do you have an idea for an article, review, spoiler material, humorous commentary, parody, or other materials regarding LOST or SWLS? We want to publish your articles on SWLS! Just submit your well written and captivating article to us, and if we like what you have to say, we'll publish it!
