Last week we were all stunned (or perhaps not so stunned) to see Sayid shoot young Ben Linus, thinking that it is his purpose in life to put an end to the horrors that Ben will commit as he grows up. Of course, Sayid didn't stop to think that perhaps this is what always happened, and the reason Ben grew up to be such a jerk was because some crazy Iraqi shot him in the jungle when he was a child. Tonight, in episode 5.11, "Whatever Happened, Happened" we get to see just what young Ben's fate is, and if Daniel was right and whatever happened, happened. Feel free to let us know in the comments what you're hoping for in tonight's episode. Personally, I'm hoping for some Richard Alpert and some Locke (how long has it been since we saw him?). So let us know what you think. Or, discuss tonight's episode in the Hype Thread! For more details and a preview, just turn the page.

Does anyone think there can be some truth to what Kate said about Claire being alive, just missing?
Meh... I'm not terribly excited about a Kate story. I'd much prefer a Daniel or Miles story - but I'll deal with it.
Sledge - another great episode graphic ;-)
OMG! We get to see Clementine! And Cassidy again! Woo-hoo! You just KNOW that's a beautiful baby girl! ;-)
Laklost,
You are absolutely right on with your Kate question. WHY is she there? I cannot say I am anxious to know but I hope the answer is tied up in the bigger picture of everyone's fate and not just because it was she needed to skip town. I am hoping Claire came back and gave her some directions.
Step 1 - Take Aaron to my mother (or Cassidy) and give him to her
Step 2 - Have sex with Jack - make him promise to ask no questions
Step 3 - Get on plan Guam
Step 4 - ???
Who the heck knows? I guess the question is does the "incident" refer to Ben's shooting? His coming back to life? The discovery of something else? Does Ben come back to life and how does that fit into the creepy man he becomes.
Whatever happened, happened...
Lots of interesting possibilities... for more questions to be raised!
The synopsis is so vague. I love it.
I might be the last person left who is interested in Kate's story. I can't wait to see what put her on that plane. And no, it was not the hope of seeing Sawyer. All that mushy-gushy between her and him is masking her real agenda -- which I am always interested in.
