Not sure if anyone's from HI like me, but I find the shot of the grocery stocker quite amusing. It looks like his apron reads "Tim's". If so, it's a funny variation of a local supermarket chain, "Time's". It's in the exact same font, too. One of the many reasons I love this show - picking out familiar bits of Hawaii that get rolled into the show (esp. in flashbacks).

OK, so Lostpedia says the role of the woman in the supermarket that found Aaron (whom they bill as "Sweet Young Woman" which I find weird) is Susan King. BobBX, perfect terminology "muppet looking plastic surgery victim." LOL. You're right, Emilie de Raven is far lovelier. But lostjava, I don't see how you can say she doesn't remotely look like Claire. I still maintain that this woman looks like an aged, muppet-looking plastic surgery-ized Claire. Go to Emilie de Raven's page on IMDB and pull up photo 50 out of 53 of her, put it beside Sledge's screencap, and then tell me. Same shaped nose, same shaped mouth, eye shape just a little off but explainable by the plastic-surgery thing above. Even to the little pouches under the eyes. I say great casting job -- Claire at age 50 maybe with surgery and a hard life.

It's Jacks fault. Had he given the surgery he would have prevented Ben's being "reborn"

Was Ben accepted back in? Or did he come back when the Others' attacked? (Memory is short.)

Richard implied that once Ben was taken by the Others, he would remember nothing (convenient) and would lose his innocence. Now I wonder how Ben reintegrates back into DI (as we see him, when he kills his dad), and how does the missing time get explained? Ben is obviously accepted back into DI at some point..

Side note isnt it cool how sawyers nicknames are time relative... now that DHARMA is up and running he calls it Dharmavillie, but in earlier seasons when the Others took over he called it New Otherton... continuity iws the glue that holds LOST together...

That woman was going to take Aaron. She was out the door way to quick for Aaron to get lost, someone to find him, then take him up front. Plus the look on her face makes me think she's hiding something.

And no, she doesn't even remotely look like Claire.

The Claire look-a-like is freaking me out! Who plays her on the cast list? TPTB said we wouldn't see Claire again until next season, I thought, but I swear I would think this was Emile de Raven with a lot of make-up and prosthetic wrinkles... It's like an aged, cartoon-version of real Claire or something. Like Claire would look if, oh, say, she moved into Jacob's cabin for a couple centuries or something...

I wasn't thinking beamed up, as much as I thought maybe the light will shine down on them and "Zap".

Does anyone else think that there was no way the Claire Look A Like was REALLY going to "turn him in"? She was going to snatch him. And the minute Kate & Aaron walked in to a BIG grocery store (what no 7-11s?) I knew Aaron was going to disappear

I wasn't waiting for a beam of light, but I WAS waiting for our losties to come to their senses and either let him die, or take care of him at Dharma! OBVIOUSLY he becomes the Ben he is today because of Sawyer and Kate. GAAAAHHH!! I have never screamed at my TV so much as I did last night.

Was anyone else waiting for Richard and Ben to get "beamed up" before he opened the temple door with his back?
