A couple of episodes ago we got to see Charlotte explain to Daniel how a man scared her on the island as a child, telling her to leave and never come back. She thought that man was Daniel. Tonight, it seemed to plague Daniel, and he uttered more than once that he 'wouldn't tell her this time.' But the hardest moment for him by far came in the Dharma camp, when he actually spotted the future girl of his dreams as innocent as ever.

I don't think she looks five...my daughter looked like that at 2 1/2, 3 years old. She could be supposedly younger.
For a second I thought that the baby that Amy and Horace's kid could have been Ben, Then I remembered that he was brought to the island as a child!
themaven, Sawyer told Juliet it was 1974.
She's obviously about 4 or 5, so maybe when she leaves the island and gets a "real birth certificate" it's 1979. Thus, this could be 1974 and she's really 5 years older than she knows.
They don't really know what time it is yet.. could be '79 since Dharma already has the operation up and running and they have already formed a treaty with the others.
We know Daniel doesn't get on the first sub because we have already seen him as a construction worker in the Orchid.
Awww.....that little cutie will grow up to be a hottie!

This is 1974 that they arrive with Dharma, right? We learned last season that Charlotte was born in 1979....
I think that Daniel will wait a while before he tells her to leave and never come back or she'll die.
