What's Hot: First New Image of Season 6
The readers at SWLS loved Jughead. It earned the highest rating of any episode over the last two seasons with an 8.96 rating. The reveal of Charles Widmore being an Other on the island in 1954 was a big hit with our members. Most of us were surprised by this revelation or at least finding out this answer during Jughead. Having a hydrogen bomb on the island split some of the fans opinions. Some were disappointed that something manmade may play a big part in the story of Lost. But overall the fantastic season 5 continues to thrill the viewers.
Jughead had 40% of our users rating this episode a perfect 10. They loved the reveals, Desmond and the pacing. Stagger Lee was thrilled with "Richard saying Widmore". That alone "made this one of the best answer eps so far....: Mr. Socko could not agree more claiming this is "on of the best episode I've seen. A 10!" Yeah they really liked this Jughead. Ladybug found 9 things she loved about it the episode so she naturally gave it a 9. Asmodean is even more enthused then Ladybug. He is not holding anything back, "I'm amazed that it keeps getting better and better." Laklost takes it a step further rating it a "a solid 10 because there is no higher. The bomb was one of the freakiest props on Lost yet."
The love of Jughead was overwhelming but not unanimous. Bambi was not a fan giving it the lowest rating of any episode this season with a 6. She missed the 06 and "it just lacked something". Hurley Rocks Dudes agreed with Bambi that it lacked something and he did not feel the reveals were shocking. Madame P is in the same camp because it "just didn't grab her like the first two episodes". "The bomb really ticked Domino off", and she expected the Widmore reveal. I originally found the bomb a disappointing twist. I did not see the point of having a bomb on the island. I now have hope that the bomb will become an answer to one of the island mystery. Maybe it is buried behind the cement in the swan or it is the cause of the "illness". I am not sure if this episode will hold up over time like the "Constant" has over repeated viewings. The reveals were great, but there is something that did not grab me like others have stated.
Once again the complaints are small and come from very tough raters. Season 5 is off to a fantastic start and we are glued to our sets every Wednesday night. Lets hope that the rest of the year lives up to the first three shows.

I can see why people would not like this one compared to an epi like The Constant, in narrative and emotional power, they do not compare, but in furthering this story, ever so quickly approaching it's end, this one took a good jump without skipping any stepping stones...Grand Summin' up there Boss..!
