What's Hot: 6x05: User Requested Images
Once again Michael Aussiello is breaking some interesting news on Lost. It appears that two of Lost's most mysterious characters will be making an appearance in season 5. Aussiello reports that Fionnula Flanagan, Desmond's reluctant grey haired ring seller, will be back on Lost during season 5. She has been previously seen in "Flashes Before Your Eyes" and in a picture on the Father's desk at the monastery where Desmond once lived. She will be back with a "major connection to a major character". She is one creepy lady who should bring an interesting story. Also Lance Reddick, who plays Matthew Abaddon, was recently seen filming in Hawaii. Aussiello believes they are filming the six episode of season 5.
The producers are also looking for two actors to play new characters. One is for a recurring role of Hal, a white 70 year old who can still fight the establishment and win. They are also looking for someone to play Mike, a thirty something Czech scientist who's on the brink of something big. That makes at least four new characters for this up coming season.
The first official promo for season 5 has hit the net. Ew.com had it up on its site, but it has been currently removed. It can be found here. Take a look and let us know what you think. It sure got me excited for the new season.
In related Lost news, Dominic Monaghan will appear in an episode of Chuck. Surprisingly he will be playing "a free-spirited British rock star targeted for death by a shadowy group of evildoers". Chuck will be in charge of saving his life after an appearance at the Buy More.This episode will be partially done in 3D. Dominic also states that he is willing to make more appearances as Charlie, but it is up to Damon Lindelof to write him into an upcoming episode.
We are still a good three months from the start of season 5, but at least some news is starting to slip out. Before we know it the holidays will be over and we can start counting down the days before Lost comes back!! Let us know what you think of all of this exciting news!

well has anyone thought that some of the characters we know and love might be one another.. i mean if we're screwing with time and space, whynot havea acrossocver... like Aarron becoming Christian or even Jacob? I mean if Richard can go who knows how long without ageing cant this be a possibility? which brings me to my point... what if Ms. Hawking is Penny?? thatd be a connection with actually 2 major characters... 1. Des, and 2. it BEING Penny. she has the money and resources to independantly ( outside of her father) search for and find Des. whynot spend those years ageing into Ms Hawking to find ways to be able to go into Des' rewind and "course correct" time again. well, if you think about it it kinda makes sense... could be... who knows... just think about it this time of year in 2 years we will know everything about LOST. unfortunately... awww i depressed myself. im gonna go have pudding.

Yes, the more you think about this Daniel is so much more than we one may have suspected.
He was teaching there and so the connection is much more plausible (sp) than one might think.

I agree that Daniel would count as a major character now. Any regular would in my opinion. They love throwing things out and saying 'major" and including everyone.
Daniel is a good guess. He is involved with the whole time travel stuff just like Ms. Hawkins

I get the feeling that Miss Hawking is going to be connected to Daniel. I know the thing there says "major connection to a major character" but who says that Daniel isn't a major character?? I consider him to be one now. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Oh, and if we're starting a count down to the show, 100 days until the premiere of season 5 as of today (10-27-08).
I am glad that we will see the connection with Fionnula Flanagan, she has been at the back of my mind for such a long time. As for the connection to a main character, well who else is there but Widmore or Ben.
Curious did Ben already know by letting our 06 go that there would be consequences? The promo's are great, but the montages, in the past are never quite what they want us to believe.
Though a new yellow plane and a person in a yellow hazmat like suit is also interesting, a new hatch or was someone hiding out?
Are we counting down 13/12 weeks now until our beloved show is glowing on the tv screen and the green lights are aglow on SWLS.
All I can think of is the song Anticipation, but with that comes the knowledge as we push this new season the finale will come quicker than we all thought.

To spoil or not to spoil. To me a spoiler is when a specific parts of the plot is revealed. Saying someone is going to be on the show is not spoilerish to me. I don't know what they are going to be doing.

Wow. SWLS is going spoiler! I'm glad to hear Miss Hawking is back. (Let's ruminate over who she's connected to...) I think the trailer is thrilling. Juggy, I know you want to go on vacation with Kate. Her bags are packed - let's go!
