Bob, I like that idea, hopefully it won't happen till 2010, when/if they get back...one of the things Jack has to take care of, or right before they leave...
SawyerLove-I'm with you on the not trusting Juliette trip. I still think she's in cahoots with Ben, and when it all goes down, I think that Jack will be the one to kill her, I hope.
I think the only reason they mentioned that he had chemical burns was to explain how Juliet knows about that place. She's not super "in the know," she's just a strumpet. Does anyone trust her at this point? I'm still hesitant. I think it's her expressionless face.
I'm just a little confused about the Juliet/Goodwin time line. To me, it seems as though their relationship starts relatively soon after Juliet gets to the island. The flashbacks seem pretty old. Hasn't Juliet been on the island for a while now? But then they show the plane crash. Does that mean that they had a "secret" relationship (that actually wasn't that secret) for years?
"... she wouldn't tell anyone if he didn't tell his wife what she said about HER."
The chemical burn is from the chemicals he was working with at the Tempest station. He told Juliet that he got the burn on a hot generator at the Tempest station, which was a power generating station. But she told him that she knew a chemical burn when she saw one, but that she wouldn't tell anyone if he didn't tell his wife what she said about him.
Why would he not want her to tell anyone else? Because then Ben would find out it was Goodwin's fault that Juliet knows that they are really working with chemicals at the Tempest. It's possible that very few of the "others" are even aware this fact. After all, Ben might not want all of his people to know about his "WMD". Some day he might end up having to use it against them if there was ever an insurrection against him.
I'm more intrested in questioning why Goodwin had a chemical burn on his forearm. we know now about the gas that was being stored in the Tempest but what was Goodwin's connection for being there? Did Ben possibly think Goodwin might have been aganist Ben, well besides taking his woman.
That swirl on the logo is very much like, if not exactly like the Hanso Foundation logo.
And I thought it was a great episode. A few answers, a few new questions, people running through the jungle in the rain with torches, whispers, Harper appears, disappears, get to see Ben in his original manipulative state.
I loved it.
definatly a "waste" episode, not nearly as good as last weeks
