What's Hot: 4x02: Various User Requested Screencaps
In a flashback scene from "Confirmed Dead", the second episode of the fourth season of LOST, Frank drops a toy airplane into a fish tank while watching the news footage of Oceanic 815's discovery. There's a mark on top of the plane, which resembles a Dharma Logo. Or, maybe just a hole. It's hard to tell due to the blurriness. You make the call!

I don't think it looks like a Dharma logo at all. Yes on the hole for a stand/hanging.
no its not Maxtasy, but thanks for the link showing what i meant which was the hole on the top of the plane shown here was probably used to hang the plane, sort of like the plane in Claire's flashback. :)
its not an airplane from the mobile in claires flashback:

still strange though, what are the odds of TWO small toy planes appearing in the same show?
Kate's plane didn't llok like that though if I remember correctly. It was more silvery looking.
BrianLOST makes a good point. It does look like a place where it could have been attached to a mobile or hung from something.
Also, Paulo4President, I was thinking the same thing. She did have a small plane.
bullet hole???
bullet hole????
I just thought of something, didn't Kate have a small plane in that sceurity box she robbed from the bank???
gsteinma: What if the fastening screw was for a mobile of some kind, like the flashback Claire had when Ethan took her? It could have once hung from something rather than been mounted on top of something. Just a thought.
Yeah, seriously, if it did have an Oceanic logo on it, it's not that shocking. Apparently, he was an Oceanic pilot. Probably got it as like a keychain or something. The thing that is weird to me, is that he seems to be "practicing" a plane crashing into the water, before he realizes they found the wreckage. Is this him feeling guilty about not being the one that flew the plane and trying to do a recreation of the crash to find it?? Maybe he's setting up another crash for a different plane on a different magic island. I'm not quite sure about the last idea there, just thought I'd throw that out.
Don't get all fussy about it. Don't forget that as a model it could be hung to give the illusion that it was flying. Besides it would be a lot of effort it make a logo that tiny.
If it is a fastening screw or a mount for a stand, WHY is it on the TOP of the plane (see the position of the tail and cockpit windows?)! No toy or model mounts to a stand upside-down! I say tiny logo, since the plane had no other livery markings - it was just light and dark colored.
I know if I lived in the Bahamas, i'd be sitting inside all day playing with a toy plane. ha ha
Just looks like a fastening screw. Nothing special.
Looks like a little hole that's probably meant for a stand. As an ex-Oceanic pilot he probably got it as a freebie...
