In 3x21, "Greatest Hits", Charlie unexpectedly finds himself inside the recently discovered "Looking Glass" hatch. He barely has time to catch his breath before two Amazonian Hatch Women march in with guns drawn. Looks like we have a new set of hatch monkeys. Juliet was under the assumption that the whole place was flooded, so... what exactly is going on down in "The Looking Glass"?

Another example of Ben decieving his own people, by making them think the underwater hatch was unusable.
i don't know how we could consider any of this "spoilers." any really observant viewers can tell based on appearance alone that these girls are not jack's ex, not cassidy, and not cindy... the people using imdb to back them up are really just proving an already definite point.
and especially since people are saying imdb and wiki are not 100 percent accurate - why not use them as a way of TRYING to piece things together? this is "investigations" after all
Lunasa-Good Call.
As for the concern about Wikipedia and what not, I have found this to be pretty good with details.

As well as Sledge's back log of info.
I would like to bet that Mikhail Bakunin shows up in the Looking Glass. That fool shows up everywhere and he had all of the books about the hatches and such in the first place.
i like how it isnt even certain that either of these two are bens child friend, yet there are already elaborate theories about why she is down there
Sledgeweb said:
Juliet was under the assumption that the whole place was flooded...
Either that or she was lying. You can never be too sure about anything Juliet says since she lies so often.
That said, in this case you're probably right, because I get the impression that Juliet isn't in the loop about a lot of things. Ben may very well have told her that the station was flooded.
Hippoeki said:
I don't think information from sites like wikipedia and imdb where just about anyone can make stuff up and post it should be considered as hard evidence for any arguement. Just a thought.
Sorry for not making myself clear. My source for that information was the official ABC press release for "Greatest Hits." I only linked to Wikipedia and IMDB as supplementary informational links about the actresses, not as my sources.
[rant]And, for what it's worth, IMDB is generally a very reliable source. It's not open for the world to edit as you imply. Regarding Wikipedia, I understand your point that since anyone can edit it, not all information is necessarily accurate at any given moment; however, subject matter experts often visit the same articles and revert any misinformed or deceptive changes that other people may have made, so inaccuracies and vandalism are usually cleaned up very quickly. For the most part, Wikipedia is usually very accurate and has more information on most subjects than you can find anywhere else, ironically for the exact same reason that people distrust it, which is that it's open for anyone to make contributions. My suggestion to anyone who believes that Wikipedia is generally inaccurate is to go read some articles about which you have a vast amount of knowledge and see if the articles contain correct information, and if not, fix them![/rant]
BobBX542: I like your theory.
buzmeg: Yes. I already pretty much did that below. ABC's press release for "Greatest Hits" (which is not a spoiler, for crying out loud, because it's for an episode that's already aired!) lists the two actresses' names (as well as the names of the characters), and neither one of them has ever been on the show before. New actresses, new characters.
aint she the chick who told locke "we are very glad you are here"
Does the cast-list name these two "GI-Janes?" If so, can we make a comparison to names from previous episodes?
The blonde looks like the girl who tossed the fire bomb on the raft when they took Walt? The brunette is a waiting to see more before comment.
What that being said, how would Ben know that would be a safe place, esp knowing a sub would be able to dock there. But for two females to come out is peculiar. I'd have to think they were promised to get off the island and have been waiting for the sub. And I do believe there are others who did what Ben did as well and joined the Hostiles.
LostAndProFound-My theory on this is that Ben told her to go there before he killed everyone with the Others, but he was suppossed to kill the entire Dharma initiative, and since he let any of them live, he can't hear Jacob (which is why his "conversation" with him seems very odd). And because Locke had his dad killed instead of killing him himself, that's why he can hear Jacob, but not see him.
As far as the Alex thing, I think she knows that Ben isn't her real father, but has accepted him as a father figure.
Ok, for fun's sake...let's say one of the girls is Annie. Why is she there and not w/Ben and the Others? And how about the fact that Alex asks Karl if Ben really is her dad?
is the blonde the woman from the hampster painting? [annie?]
look back in the investigations, i'm not sure how to link here.
Minnis430, if you slo-mo the previews for next week, you will see someone else who appears to be in the Looking Glass also...
I thought the brunette resembled both Cindy and Cassidy. I didn't see any resemblance between the blonde and Sarah. It does make perfect sense that it might be Annie, though, particularly if Julia was telling the truth about Ben telling everyone that hatch was flooded. It would be his way of keeping Annie away from everyone, or vice-versa...
Wonder which one of those gals is Alice and which one is the Queen of Hearts?? :D
Who else could be in the looking glass with the two woman? They are the first to come out, who is going to come out next?
THAT IS NOT CASSIDY!!! Don't any of you read the cast lists? And this is not spoilerish....
The brunette looks like sawyers' Ex,(in fact it is her!). And I never seen the blonde she looks most like Bens' mother but thats impossible!!
They seem to be the same, no ?
[img]]Clickie
i agree the brunette looks like cassidy
but she also looks like the flight attendant that ended up with the others
And the stupidity continues. People, read all the posts before making your new posts about things we are so over. And if I'm being unsensitive, tough. Grow up already.
I believe the girls are with Naomi. These are the people she told the Russian guy she isn't alone. Remember, we saw the helicopter or whatever it was fall near the Looking Glass.
That's who Cassidy is. She is the woman that was with Sawyer and then later in a flashback of Kate's.
The brunette is definitely not Cindy. She reminds me of the chick Sawyer conned... the one that helped Kate. I can't remember her name.
Am I seeing things, or does that Brunette look identical to Cassidy??
Just because the cable was labeled "anchor" doesn't mean its not a power or air cable. My memory is failing me at the moment, but I've seen examples of things called anchors when they were actually just links of different kinds.
I'm not sure that the brunette was Cindy although the hair is similar, In the episode when Locke went with Ben to see Jacob Cindy talks to Locke, this is well after the sub was supposedly blown up, if the sub is the others only way to and from the looking glass then how would Cindy have gotten there after talkiing to Locke?
The blonde looks like one of the girls from Juliet's Book Club. Can anyone confirm that?
Jenine - I feel the same way about the brunette. She appears to be Cindy. Also in the recent Others' screenshots, she hasn't been seen, as well as all the children they took.
Was going to post the same thing there darthmaul 1
the cable was the anchor to the Island not a power cord.....
according to the blue prints The cable is not an electric cable it's an anchor. so cutting it would not cut the power
Her looking young wouldn't particularly be an issue given the life extension experiment theory - Richard looks young too.
I totally think that the blonde one will be Annie. It makes a lot of sense, as many people have pointed out. Although, at the same time, she still looks really young - younger than Ben, but maybe she was as a kid, too. I'm excited for the season finale!
The brunette does look a little like Cindy/flight attendant, but I don't think it's her.
the burnette is the flight attendant on the plane that got taken in season 2
BobBaft I am with you "Also, instead of flipping the switch to kill the power to the radio jamming signal, why didn't they just take an axe to the power cable running to the station?!?"
I was thinking the exact same thing when they were pulling that rope out to the looking glass. Cut, the end.
BobBaft: Yes, you can avoid spoilers. I use the internet, watch television, listen to the radio and read. And yet I manage to avoid spoilers. It's on purpose that I avoid them. That's why it's so disappointing to visit a website like this one that's supposedly spoiler-free, only to find that people are posting information from outside sources that has not yet been revealed on the show.
i thought the blonde chick looked like one of the girls on the boat that took walt.
I don't think they are the girls from Charlie's bed - the blond in the hatch definitely wasn't.
Is there a chance that the ladies in the Looking Glass are the same girls we see in bed with Charlie in the flashback with his brother?
Or maybe they're two entirely unrelated, unknowing people like Calvin and Radzinsky were in the Swan (and eventually Desmond) to save the world by desalinizing water.
As for spoilers, if you don't want them, be sure to stay off the internet and turn off your radio and TV. You can't avoid them...
I'm up in the air as to if Locke's dead or not, but I'm only going to be upset with myself if I read someone's post (like the one below) about a rumor of how it's confirmed that the season finale is about Locke vs. Jack or whatever...that's a chance I'm taking everytime I come here.
Also, instead of flipping the switch to kill the power to the radio jamming signal, why didn't they just take an axe to the power cable running to the station?!?
I dont understand how ppl can say that the blonde chick is jack's ex, not only does it look nothing like her at all but that story line would suck, no way the writers could justify that and make it look good.... dont understand how these theories get started.
not sure why the clickies aren't showing their pics, but there pics are here under profiles

I agree with El Nacho. PLEASE don't post information from IMDb here. Many of us don't want to know this stuff. It's definitely a "spoiler" to announce to everyone the names of these characters and the fact that they're both brand new characters.
BobBX542 - veeeery interesting! (And thanks for the validation!) I don't know that I believe that Ben is willing to share his power, though. Although I don't think this will play out in the finale, here's what I think about Ben & Locke:
There is some sort of prophecy about who will rule the island. In it, the person kills their father, and can communicate with Jacob(amoung other things). This is why Ben humiliated Locke for not killing his father, why Ben was so threatened by Locke hearing Jacob, and why Ben killed Locke (or tried to?)... The Other's are obviously sick of Ben. Why else would Richard help Locke kill his father, unless it was to fulfill the prophecy and ouste Ben?
I don't think information from sites like wikipedia and imdb where just about anyone can make stuff up and post it should be considered as hard evidence for any arguement. Just a thought.
Also, there is no way that's Sarah.
ajkleinheksel-that makes so much sense it makes me want to get sick. I have a theory about next week's episode and this ties into it beautifully.
Apparently the season finale is centered around some confrontation between Locke and Jack, and I think that what is going to happen is that because Ben can see Jacob, but not hear him, and Locke can hear him, but not see him, Ben and Locke are going join forces when they go up against the survivors (I think that's who Jack is talking to in the commercial). Anyway, my point is that because Locke had his father killed instead of doing it him self, that's why he can hear him. And because Ben couldn't bring himself to kill Annie, that's why he can only see Jacob. Make sense?? Because I feel like I just rambled that out.
It makes sense for Ben's kiddie-crush to be in the Looking Glass: Ben told everyone that the hatch was flooded, so no one could go there. If Ben had secretly saved Annie from the gas attack then he would need to stash her somewhere where no one else could go... But who is the other chick?
I think the blond looks a little like the grown up version of Ben's little girlfriend from Othersville. The one who gave him the doll for his birthday.
In that screen cap, the brunette definitely looks like Cassidy (say, would that make the blonde a time-shifted Clementine?? ooooooh!!! just kidding). But...
WARNING: Some people on this thread might consider the following to be a spoiler.
...as other people have pointed out, the brunette is listed in the credits as Greta, played by Lana Parrilla (IMDB, Wikipedia), and the blonde is listed in the credits as Bonnie, played by Tracy Middendorf (Wikipedia, IMDB). If you're a 24 fan, you might recognize Parrilla as Sarah from Season 4. Middendorf has played small roles on 24 and Angel, but she's probably most famous for a role she played on Days of Our Lives.
Too bad the brunette's not Cassidy. That would have been an awesome twist.
omg,the brunete is cassidy
Clickie
There was no mention of either of those character in the credits.
Either way, I feel spoiled. I wish people would be more considerate.
El Nacho, the same information could have been seen in the credits that played at the end of the episode.
and the moron count increases.
Someone bet their life they were right and they were wrong this was Sarah. I say take your life now. Dummy.
So...using IMDB to debunk stuff isn't considered spoilers?
Cause I sure do feel spoiled. :( If it didn't come from the show can we keep it out of the non-spoiled areas please?
Dang. I'm away for 5 minutes and two other people post pretty much the same thing before me. lol
I'll admit that the one girl looks like she could be Cassidy. But a little research shows that neither actress in "Greatest Hits" has ever been on LOST before. So whoever they are, they're new.
These are Bonnie and Greta. Check em out on Lost Pedia. Two completely new women we've never seen.
I just checked IMDB.com and the two new characters are Bonnie (the blonde played by Tracy Middendorf who was on Angel) and Greta (the brunette played by Lana Parrilla), so it looks like we have two completely new characters to keep track of. (Just as long as they dont turn out to be a Paolo and Nikki!)
I then checked wikipedia for Tracy Middendorf, and it says there that she plays "Annie" on Lost...
cassidy (Sawyers ex) I think so - - - blonde... who knows... and (sic) is actually [sic] and it is used when quoting something that is spelled or done wrong... you put [sic] to show you KNOW its wrong, but you are jsut quoting exactly as it was (wrong) make sense?
i can only agree on the rifle girl looking like "cassidy"... would add to the conspiracy and 6 degrees if it is... she helped kate out and im thinking she was meant to gain her trust somehow in that epsiode... as for jacks wifey???? cant see it yet... need to lok at side by sides...
Look BadRobot64, if you watched Boston Legal you would know for sure that it's not her. The same actress that played Sarah on Lost is on that show. This woman looks NOTHING like her. The people that are saying it might be Laura Harris might be onto something though.
As far as (sic) goes, you'll just have to look it up. ;)
It's Annie...all grown up. She will have a "Ben Doll" in the next episode...
ozman help me out.. you knwo what im talkin about right??
get a pic of Sarah and put them side by side up here.. and you will all see im right...
I will grant that the brunette looks a lot like Cassidy, that is 100% NOT Jack's ex wife. I'd bet my life on it.
the one holding the rifle is imho sawyers babys momma.... oh how the plot thickensssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!
The blond is not Sarah - that is not Julie Bowen - the actress that plays Sarah.
no way that's Jacks ex.
She looks like Laura Harris, and maybe she is :

who are you saying is not her? and what is "(sic)"?
yet another plot twist... saweet..
No. Definately (sic) not her.
and the one holding the rifle looks alot like Sawyer's. This should be called the " Woman scorned " Station...
Yepp definately ex Mrs. Jack Shepard. Sarah... oh man whats she up to?
Looks like Cindy and that looks like Laura Harris, the girl from 24 season 4 and Daisy in Dead Like Me. Not quite 100% on both but that's who it looks like.
