It just lists the various Hanso Foundation projects: "Life-Explanation Project," (LEP) "World Wellness and Prevention and Deployment Program" (WWP, DP) etc....

what is the series of letters on the bottom of the Hanso letter? You can clearly see them if you zoom in!

So I e-mailed Mittelos Bioscience inquiring about a job, so I'll let you guys know what happens there :)

P.S. Alpert was the guy who recruited Juliet.Also the silhouette of the founder looks a lot like Mittelwerk's especially regarding the part in his hair.

There are HUGE parallels between The Brothers Karamazov and Lost specifically styles of leadership.

I sent the address to an acquaintance and when he went to the site a file about "James Ford" with medical records popped up, saying "Anomaly Detected". This may be second hand info but I have little reason to doubt it. Check it out.

While it may not advance the theories surrounding the others or Mittelos Bioscience, on the Ethan Rom's quote on the MB website is from The Brothers Karamazov, which I believe Henry Gale was reading while in captivity by the Losties.

IF Ram Das is a factor (the name could hardly be coincidence): Baba Ram Das was the a significant influence in the Self Actualization movement of the late 60s and early 70s. His seminal work "Be Here Now" dealt with defining ones own path to enlightenment. Hmmmmmmmmm

hell-o yall. in case anyone cares....i looked up the mittelos biowhatever site(there is one by the way!). under executives....it mentions some names along with bios. some of the names listed...juliet burke, ethan rom, etc. however, one name stuck out.....dr. richard alpert. in "real" life there was/is a dr. richard alpert. he changed his name to ram das. he was part of early acid and psilocybin (mushrooms) studies along side tim leary. he then went to become a major influence on modern buddhist thought (i think). regardless, this person with that name exists and turns out he has to do with psychadelic drug research...interesting! does this whole thing have to do with the use of psychadelic drugs and possibly their potential for human growth? go ahead...google "dr. richard alpert" after you double check the name on the mittelos site first of coarse! just thought i'd share! enjoy

I gave up on TLE when I realized it was just a way for companies to advertise, and I figured, if I just watch the show, I'll get what I need...eventually. If this 'virus' thing makes any sense, then more power to you.

The voice and face belong to Mittelwerk. One can assume he has supposedly been forced into hidding since Alvar has taken control.

On the Hanso link if you actually click on the word humanity you will be taken to the person who is talking. He talks about humanity needing him and him having some sort of virus.

was just checking out BC1204's Hanso link, after reading the letter I clicked around to see if anything would happen. Around the last line of the third paragraph I noticed a humming noise under the eerie music and then some one talking. I couldn't make out anything but maybe the word humanity. If anyone else has seen/heard this, let us know. Thanx.

I think its pretty apparent that Mittlewerk is pulling the string behind Hanso at this point and has a lot of power. Ethan in her sister's apartment for example, not to mention the ex getting hit by a bus. It's pretty clear he's also responsible for that as the ex was the only thing that was in his way. The planning and foresight must have been tremendous, if we assume Mittlewerk doesn't have some cosmic power over fate.

If Mittlework is behind this company, maybe Juliet's husband is in on it too. It's very convenient that he stood in the road just when that bus came barreling down the street. If the bus were supposed to hit him, it was driving so fast it would have had to be pre-planned. There is no way the driver could have targeted him if he didn't know where he would be. Anyway, if her husband and her sister are in on it, Juliet was a target. So, they watch her work, they help her along with her work...she's not confident, she's manipulatable, but she's smart. It's a perfect setup (and when the Others set something up, it's usually flawless.)

Actually some people on other boards have speculated that the significance of Mittelos is that is sounds like Thomas Werner Mittelwerk, who we learned in TLE works for Hanso, which is clearly behind this cover organization.

Could be a stretch but if it was "____ (some combination of letters i,t,e, and m) lost," then it might be a reference to Paradise Lost and there's your Adam and Eve connection.

I read that they were going to have an anagram that would relate to Adam and eve. So what would Lost time have to do with them?
