Did anyone else notice that Eddie was wearing a Geronimo Jackson shirt in the flashback? I think it was the same pic as the record album cover found in the Swan hatch.
He has a two-year ("Associates") degree, probably from a community college. "Police Science" is a common associates degree. Notice he has also received SWAT training.

"S/N" is not the abreviation for SSN (or SSAN) - it means "serial number." I believe the "rm" right before the number means that this is the serial number of his firearm - the gun he is registered to carry.

Sooo they said he was a fresh recruit, and I'm assuming that "...service: 94" is when he started. So that gives us a timeline of when this flashback is. Maybe?
