This sounds stupid, but...

When I first saw the screen capture of Sawyer in the cage, I thought it was a screen capture of an animal in the cage, on it's hind legs. If you think of the little ball just above Saywer's head as an eye, you might be able to see what I'm saying.

Just to add, monitor 1 seems to show the forest near the losties camp (where Walt appeared to Shannon) in the second instance, monitor 2 seems to show the soup that Juliet made Jack while monitor 4, although looking like Jacks cell has no food visible on the table and is there for either a seperate cell or Jack's cell on a time delay.

My opinion is:
Monitor 1: Entrance to Jack's cell.
" 2: Jack in his cell/ aquarium.
" 3: Sayid/Jin in bushes near Pala ferry jetty.
" 4: Another view of Jack's cell or maybe seperate ajoining cell.
" 5: Sawyer in bear cage.
" 6: Kate in bear cage formerly occupied by Carl.

Bottom right picture looks like the guy is bald...that isn't sawyer.............

I loved the "Planet of the Apes" style music in 3x1 when Carl and Sawyer escape and are captured. Just who are the gorillas???
Maybe Ben was piping it in just to entertain himself ;)

As for the pictures, I wouldnt look to much into them, the obvious pictures seem to show the captives, Jack, Kate and Sawyer, and also Sayid and Jin.
Think its just to show that the Others are paying very close attention to the Losties.

Are these children the tailies who were captured previously by the Others last season?

Gumpy !!! That is just incredibly uncanny! Sledge, you should give out awards for people who make such detailed discoveries! Do you think it could be something as innocent as the production staff re-using some forest footage, or should it hold some meaning?

The first picture is from this episode, the second is from Man of Science Man of Faith. There's no people in either shot.

Wow, that's some impressive woods comparison. Which shot is which? Can you see any people in either shot? (It is late and my eyes are getting fuzzy...)

The shots from the monitors on the top left and right that show trees are from the scene where sayid and jin are waiting by the boat, and the scene from the season two premiere where walt is standing in the woods dripping wet. I made pictures to compare:

Also explains why they caught Carl and Sawyer so quickly last week. Guess Carl didn't know about the monitoring cameras. Although, Jack's is so obvious, wonder why Sawyer and Kate haven't seen the ones monitoring them. (They wouldn't have had to hid cameras from the animals...) [color=Green][/color]

Couple on the right look like children being held captive....

The top right one at first seemed like it showed a person, maybe in the woods. I think there are some more screen shots to be had of this scene because at least the outer screens rotated images.

to me some of those remind me of the shots where Sayid and Jin were hoping to ambush the Others.

The one looks like it is showing a bush or a pile of yard waste.
