Dr. Zander is a psychiatrist and director of The Vik Institute, the flagship hospital of THF's Mental Health Initiative program. He realized that there was a secret subbasement ward where mathematicians and autistic savants were being forced to run the Valenzetti Equation over and over. He becomes an informant to Rachel, telling her that the hieroglyphics are "representative symbols for The Numbers", and then goes missing shortly thereafter.



At Comic Con, the writers say that the hieroglyphics are meant to represent "Underworld".
