2x23: Monitoring Station - Electromagnetic Anomaly Detected

2x23: Monitoring Station - Electromagnetic Anomaly DetectedIn the final moments of "Live Together, Die Alone", we learn there are a couple of guys in some sort of monitoring station in very cold environment. A blinking light on a computer interrupts their chess game. The screen indicates that an electromagnetic anomaly has been detected. They immediately look up the reference code, and call Penny Widmore. They tell her that they've found it. It appears that Penny is perhaps looking for Desmond and the island. Though, we have to wait until next season to find out what exactly is going on.

monitor, the number is 7418880 (which is the product of 4*8*15*16*23*42).

>/ (that's a DOS pointer, yes?) 7418880 (ID for our location the island, maybe?)Electromagnetic Anomaly (out of the ordinary) DetectedWhat if they monitor for a certain pulse every 108 minutes and now it didn't happen?  In fact (judging from the white light) it might have blown a fuse (or tow or three).  Isn't the next step a team to check and contain the damage.  Hopes of rescue or are the losties now part of the problem just like the others use to be?  You know a 16 year old distress call saying they are all dead would be a great way of keeping tourism down.Isn't it crazy to believe that the "powers to be" would invest years and millions of dollars (not to mention leaving people behind to do their thing and sending them food) and not make sure the job is being done?Feed back please!

Sledge, I'm editing in that 7418880 is 4*8*15*16*23*42.  We've gotten about a 100 suggestions/corrections in our Investigations S/C box that say that, and I just want everyone to know we're aware of that fact...

Hi, I´m from Brazil and I can say that the accent is not from here. For me it´s sounds like from someone of Portugal.

About the snow: Brazil have some scientific bases on Antartida (extreme south of the globe, i don´t know how you call in english). Maybe it was a mistake and they used portuguese actors to interprete brazilian guys. I think that because anomalies of the earth magnetism should be more noticeable in the artic/antartic because of the earth axis

I think the snowy region might be on the island, high up on a peak.
